Post-Game Talk: Jets buffalo Buffalo - 7:4 Final

Despite the last 10 min of the 3rd where Buffalo really poured it on this was all Jets, this team is so fun to watch even with all the injuries. Our depth is really showing this season, Dano has been solid, Roslovic even without a point in his two games has looked really good and even Matthias has played solid. Proud of the boys!

Go Cold & Dark Jets Go!

professors of seein in game ! :

first line didnt look good. Wheeler just horrible also O'Connor horrible. despite 2 goals by o ´Connor he couldnt bring anything to the line. without the goals the line did not have a single scoringchanhe. this is not a good game by o ´Connor despite these Points understand? listen: he is in line to bring things with his speed...but he didnt got to use it and he didnt bring any help at boards or anything. very weak game. passing and stuff all going wrong all time. same with Wheelers. this line all the time got lost in own zoun dont say anything else. wheelesr very lucky this seasons...of course huge amount of icetime helps him too....so : Wheelers very lucky to get any Points....he seems by every chanche get a assist ., very lucky. laine very unlucky, almost never anyone not score when he could have assist. today laine only one Point, he could be the one with 3 poitns today and the others with 1 or non but lucky was the one who got em. not saying laine good today. he seem yet yet and yet very upset at coaches beheaviours all season from not getting laine being able to be at chanhe for getting to win scoringleague and pointscorers Trophy. he has lost so many poitns and goals by not having to play so now he feels the seasons is kind of lost personally. maybe at playoff he tries harder again. also he looks also vareful there...not putting much efforts in boardsbattles...i Think he very careful not getting hit right now. he doesnt have to also, to try dumbly and hardly. maybe coach say stay careful and easy

The hate for Bogo is real over on the Buffalo board, don't think he will be there much longer, Kane all but traded at the deadline, they've soured on the goaltending, signing Okposo as a free agent for 6mil. has not worked out and he still has 5 more years left, and unfortunately they are starting to sour on Housley. It might take a while before they turn it around.

This Jet's team is for real !!! - no fluke here. Over the last 51 games played ( includes last 7 in 2017) we are 40- 11. That's right we've only lost 11 games in the last 51 we've played. --"not to bad" That means we are losing 30% of our games. Over an 82 game schedule then we would only lose 24 games, which would make our regular season record 58 wins / and 24 losses, for a season total of 116 points.

Why the big difference ?? goaltending of .925 % ( SP) a healthy Myers on RD, who adds scoring from the back end, the addition of Kulikov to shore up the LD, and finally the young guys like Connor, Ehlers and Laine are scoring. Also because of all this, the confidence is running high, and no more panicking and blowing leads.

I don't think our winning ways are going to stop--especially if we keep getting that great goaltending, and Helle looks pretty composed.

We're beating good teams-like the Penns ( 7-2) LA Kings, Nashville,Devils, St.Louis,Vegas, beat Dallas 2 straight as well as Minnesota 2 straight. That says "a lot." These are all top teams.

This team is very much for real, and will cruise into the playoffs, and have a deep run. A special thanks to Chevy, for a job well done, and staying the course through some strong adversity !!!

Ill bet they are soured on their goaltending.
It must really suck to remember Dominic Hasek in his prime and to see what they have now.

Not sure i'd pin all of their defence woes on just Bogo, all of their defence looked like pilons many times during the game.

Need to clarify the Bogo point, they don't seem to like what he does on the ice and his contract , they also not to fond of McCabe, Gorges, and Beaulieu, doesn't leave then much losing doesn't help.

That game said something about parity in the league and 'any team can beat any team on a given night'. Against the 2nd worst team in the league Jets were dominant. But get sloppy for a little while and they are right back in it.

Mason pitched a SO tonight. None of the goals were on him - even a little bit.

Loved Connor. He is getting better all the time.
Dano continues to make a case for himself. So does Roslo. I expect him to go down when we are healthy because Chevy won't want to waive anyone. But I think he is back after the TD.

Another great game by Copp at C. I'd like to see him at 3C with MP and Armia.

Nice Win

onto the next game.

IT's going to get harder, the teams below is trying to catch us... yeah the teams below :)

Tough road stretch ahead... hope they win 2 more games than they lose :)

I remember very clearly a poster saying

There was no need for Wheeler to block that shot when he took one in the hand.

It would have been a 1 goal game with 5mins left if he didn't.

If this guy isn't in the running for the Hart and maintains this play....

Apparently Kucherov has it in the bag. :sarcasm: I didn't know it went to the top scorer. I thought that was called the Ross! Oh well.

With what he is doing, captaining the Jets to 1st in the div, taking over at 1C with Fefe out, leading the Jets in scoring he certainly ought to win it so far. The season is only half over but honestly, it shouldn't even be close.

Eastern bias?

I was just watching SportsCentre and the intro to the Jets' highlights made me grin from ear to ear. It went exactly like this...

Derek Taylor: "Natasha, if it's okay with you I think we should take 20 seconds out and just bask in the fact that the Winnipeg Jets are the best team in all of Canada"

Natasha Stanisomething: "Sure, I mean they are, why not, let's celebrate it"

Chevy's patience is now my most favoritest thing ever

Chevy has been criticized here quite a bit over the years. I think it has often been deserved too. He has his faults and has made his mistakes - but he still might just be the best GM in the league. None of them is perfect.

If he can successfully navigate through the Trouba situation and the pending cap problems - he is a GM savant.

now we know your drunk and didnt watch the game. armia was a boss most of the game. had a cpl turnovers sure but he alone made the sabres **** their pants numerous times including setting up copp for a tap in that he fumbled and dano infront. :)

Armia had two point blank chances early in the game. He's playing the best hockey of his career right now.

If Edmonton goes 25-10-4 in the rest of their games, they'll have a 35% chance of making the playoffs according to sports club stats.
What's more reasonable (and depressing to even contemplate) is that they will have a better chance at the first over all pick in 2018.
