First of all, love the title to this post game thread @RetroWinnipeg, that was pretty funny and totally unexpected. That was quite the game tonight, it certainly had the feel of a playoff game. They started off like gangbusters, but were just hanging on by the end of the third. Nice to see Morrissey pot the winner in overtime, especially after that beauty that was taken away in the Boston game by the off sides call. Not a great game by Hellebuyck, but a win is a win is a win (I sound like Jean Chretien). I give this game four "Happy Moms" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the Candy Canes has been posted for your guesses. I won't see you on Tuesday as I will be at Canada Life Centre watching it in person, but I will try to give "nap"dates every once in a while. Until then, good night...

Has worked his pace back to around 50 points over the full season.

Fighting through the slumps is something everyone has to learn, and he's making strides there this year.

His off the puck game and forechecking/board work also continue to improve.

Lots to be happy about this game but I’m impressed with Ford. He’s a little sparkle plug only played 8 mins but had the most hits. I can see him playing some playoff games if he keeps that up.
This game showed the Jets need a tougher D man. I like Demelo but he is just not strong enough to handle the big forwards. Stanley has some good moments but there was a few too many mistakes for me. I don’t think the Caps scored with him on the ice but they did applied a lot of pressure just by him making a bad read or slow reaction..

Liked the Jets game other than the 3rd period which was shit. The Jets being on a run in Feb are signs of positivity, usually by this time of the year you can see the wheels start to come off.
