This was the marquee matchup of the night even though it wasn't the marquee matchup on Rogers.
Love the way the team came out wheeling in the 1st. Not just speed but rotation. I think that speed is what allows for the attack.
Perfetti has stepped up his game. Namestnikov isn't far behind. Ehlers was dynamic.
Thought it was a bit of a rough go for Scheif tonight even though he got on the scoreboard. Mo seemed to have a burr being on for every goal against, but again speed on defense is an asset that Caps couldn't match.
Thought Miller had a real solid game. Even Stan was pretty steady out there.
Samberg-Pionk are playing like a top pairing
Kupari is figuring it out using that speed to create space. It's the hands that are holding him back from being top 9. Thought his linemates had a good defensive game.
Undefeated on the road, 6 in a row now, this ride just keeps getting better.

Caps took over in the 3rd but Jets pulled it out in the end. Lotta clenching.

Having Barron and Lowry would've helped in the third when the Caps upped the heavy game, still the Jets took hits to make plays and keep the game tied.

Up and down game but that's to be expected with the two best teams.
Not the best game by Helle, but the boys got him the win.
JoMo and Pionk were flying. Thought Stanley was solid. Not super happy with Snerg, DeMo or Miller's play. I'd put Ville in next game as I haven't been all that impressed with Miller in a while. He's the weak link right now.
Top line was also off but where in on a couple key goals.
Second line continues its strong play. Namestnikov is playing well but seems to handle the puck like a hot potatoe around the opposition net. He had it in a grade A spit like 4 times tonight and flunked them all lol. Fly and Perfetti both really going right now.
Third line was ok but it needs Lowry back.
Ford is definitely busting his butt to make an impression. Gus playing sound positional hockey and Iafallo doing his thing. I've been happy with this line lately.
Only two games to the break and I'm not sure what I want Chevy to do for the deadline.

Honestly we won on the road against a very good team and not on Helly's back, i love it.

Tonight's game was a huge test and I would say the Jets passed, sure they gave up a 2 goal lead but they came back in OT.
