I like what i have seen from Coghlan , he is a very good skater.Honestly with Salo so young and being injured recently, no. Coghlan was actually needed down there.

That's what I saw too, I am hoping it's just a bad charley horse but it might be a hyperextension. The good news is he did try to come back so that suggests it's fairly minor.I thought it looked bad. His leg hits the post just above the knee and his shin kind of snaps forward beyond what looks like the comfortable limit of the joint. If he's just out a couple of weeks or less then we're pretty lucky.
Buffdog made a perfect counter argument: If I grab a guys stick and smash it into my face, drawing blood, according to this ridiculous rule, that should be a minor for me and double minor for them?Imagine if that happened in a deciding playoff game? That's a penalty that should be reviewable. I know guys get that penalty all the time accidentally hitting a guy in the face but not because they were tripped and on said trip their stick comes up. What a great kill by the Jets though.![]()
I bagged a 4 pointer on Roblin with my Buick yessiree a good one!!!I've said before that Chevy should ask the kid to get his phone out and show them pics of the biggest walleye he's ever caught and the biggest buck he's ever shot
There are some MONSTERS out that wayI bagged a 4 pointer on Roblin with my Buick yessiree a good one!!!
It's standing on railroad tracks, not very smart but ya very big. I wonder if his name is Stanley? There are some MONSTERS out that way
This was taken on the tracks by Wilkes around 2017. Absolutely freak

Perfetti and Stanley were dogshit
A couple of penalty calls were horseshit
Helle is THE shit
Not sure if it's a coincidence or not that this is the same time in the season when Perfetti really started to struggle last yearMan Perfetti has been... really bad. Hoping it's a confidence thing.
Heinola on the other hand looked pretty good, but is also clearly suffering from a confidence issue. He should've lasered home that one opportunity he got in the slot.
Seems like it's taking him some time to get used to the physical and mental grind of an NHL season. To be fair, it's been particularly egregious this season and he's not the only one.Not sure if it's a coincidence or not that this is the same time in the season when Perfetti really started to struggle last year
As was the Connor penaltyHolding call on Pionk was pretty sus.
Regressing to his norm in one period?Iafallo had a really good game as did Pionk and Helle.
Stanley is regressing to his norm and could have easily cost us the game.
We need some size on that 2nd line.
4th line had a great game.
Chevy, trade for Cozens.
NSH sucks.
The morning after, and I'm still basking in the afterburn, sipping some funky cold medina with ice and a lump of heavy metal.

I enjoy his ability to mold and meld, and greatly admire his ability to master multiple instruments. I had a guitar teacher who could do all that - amazing person.Be tough to do that live.Catchy though.
Actually, Stanley's hockey sense is pretty good. If you watch his game instead of just waiting to jump on mistakes, you'll see he makes alot of very good decisions with the puck. His exit passes are probably the best of our bottom pair crew of 5. Consistently better than Heinola, and that's supposed to be his strength.Man, get Stanley out of the lineup for the love of God.
Anyone saying he is picked on and is playing better and well enough to be in the lineup is severely mistaken.
He simply does not have the hockey sense and speed to perform in this league. He fools some by looking ok against weaker teams and players, but is severely exposed against many.
He will kill us in playoffs if he is in.

I'm trying very hard to be objective on Stanley and i agree he does do some things well but he looks very awkward out there sometimes and seems to run out of gas very fast. Ultimately the Jets see something in him and all i want is the Winnipeg Jets to do well so i hope he keeps improving. Oh and he has to stop using the wood Sherwood sticks because they are breaking on him alot.Actually, Stanley's hockey sense is pretty good. He's also shown a strong ability to get the puck through on his shots, and some offensive acumen rushing and passing in the offensive zone.
Yes, he makes mistakes, like all our players. His biggest weakness is his agility through his pivots, and that gets him into trouble on rush plays sometimes. He doesn't have great top end speed but I don't see that being a problem. His biggest area of opportunity is adjusting his timing to account for these deficiencies.
People just don't have the patience to look at Stans game as a whole, and actually try to judge it objectively. Not does anyone want to acknowledge that he might actually be getting better because it goes against their belief that he's just bad.
It's fascinating.
