No joke, no matter how Dad-errific, could ever measure up to the complete and total joke that was tonight's game management. I STILL have no idea how Barron got the penalty there.

Setting that aside for a moment, because honestly you're likelier than not to be correct, do you think Heinola cracks the top 8, and if so, who does he bump?
I'm thinking that he'll get sent to the Moose for a bit, because we can with the knowledge that he will be brought back up and get to play. Then the push will be on, literally, to shove Stanley off this team as quickly as possible. There is little or no chance he gets back into the lineup, barring injury, like maybe 6 of them.

I also think that right now the Jets will be hesitant to change the starting lineup at all, unless it "needs" to be done because of the success and the run this current lineup is on.

Sad Gus is hurt yet again but Toninato has been a revelation in his spot. I cannot remember Tony Nato have more than the odd shift where he proved useful in the past.

somewhere flat
I try to be realistic, not sure if I'm considered a negative poster but I doubt I'm considered a positive one. Things are good right now. I think even the most negative posters can acknowledge that.
People are often classified as optimistic or pessimistic. Glass half full vs glass half empty.

Simplistic, IMO. Being a realist is underrated. Glass may be half empty, nothing wrong with wanting it filled up.

I can’t see chis being higher on depth charts. The team knows what they have in Stanley chis has played less than a handful. He has more potential but if I have to replace a guy last second ppl generally go with the familiar option even if inferior.

A good team player right now will realize that things are rolling for the lineup as is and they and will place the well being rhe team above their own wants

Guys like Heinola, Chisholm, and Kupari will want to play asap because that's human nature but if they can't understand that the team comes first, chevy should ship them out asap

Not sure what your point is about my point. My point being coaches for a 1 game stretch are more likely to turn to familiarity than the potentially better player.
I think Heinola goes to A and first extended injury goes in.

Me too, on Scheiff’ mostly..Admired Helly’s honesty when he said “I just want to be on a Stanley Cup team”..and then he stood by us, (and Scheiffle just kept on doing his chin-ups and (in those famous words by another Jet, with respect to Bones’ vision) “I’m feeling’ it”

I think nobody wants to say Wheels was a dickwad.
I think Maurice even felt that way
