Its early but Barkov is 3rd in PPG leaguewide.

Would be cool to see Barkov finally hit the 100 point mark after he narrowly missed in 2018 and then missed too many games in 2021.

And then imagine Reinhart maintaining his current pace, currently 3rd in scoring..

I think there's a solid argument they are the best duo in the league atm. If they both score 90-100 points by the end of the season, I don't think it would even be a debate considering their two way play.

Had a lovely Sunday morning watching highlights (several times) and catching up. Looked like a really fun game - great energy. The Jets look like a good team and had chances but just didn't seem to be able to keep up. Completely agree with @Felidae - Barky and Reino are an incredible duo - dominating out there. And really like Mackie. Shame that Bennett didn't capitalise on some of his chances - missing the cute animals popping up on my feed!

Really want us to beat them again in the next game - just to show the league that WE'RE BACK BABY!!

I think they are handling Mackie well this year.
Play some, sit some.

IMO he's going to be a good scoring forward for this team. Not this year, but in a few when we need that depth scoring that's when he'll be blossomed.

His speed and shot are something that this team can use. Just needs more time honing his skills and adapting to the NHL.

One of, if not their best played game all season. Pissed about the last 2 games, playing the #1 team this season and coach Maurice’s old team, they came out with a purpose and clearly were giving it their all. The result? A 5-0 smack down.

Great to see bob get the shutout, made some solid saves. We could’ve had more than 5, we had some great pressure early on before potting our first. I thought that was samo’s best game, he was on top of it and had a noticeable game imo and was rewarded with the first goal. Nice to see kuli on the board. I love Jesper but I think his biggest downside is his board work, it’s been noticeable for a while but his board game is really lacking unfortunately, but that’s my only real complaint about him, helps to play with luostarinen who is arguably our best player along the boards. Hope his knee isn’t hurting too much today.

For a team who only lost their 3rd game all season, I can’t believe how much of sore losers the jets were last night. Scheiffle with two dirty plays, throwing balinskis’ head into the boards and got the roughing call and then a dangerous high hit on Forsling and forced Ekblad into fighting, which idk how he didn’t get the initial call since I could’ve sworn I saw the refs arm go up before the fight. Then the clipping on boqvist’s knee, I like how he waited along the boards for the player to catch up later in the game just so he could throw that reverse hit lmao

Amazing game, love the response! Next game should be interesting with how dirty they got towards the end

On a side note, I was watching a reel that popped up on YouTube talking about streamers. I don’t watch streamers but this image flashed across the screen and is that QxC with a tkachuk jersey behind him?? What’s the story behind this? that’s awesome
