Yeah he's looked to have turned it around. Hopefully the break filled up his gas tank a bit.

Ehlers was typical Ehlers tonight. a few really top notch high skill plays, and a bunch of dumb dumb plays too.

He's gotta be so frustrating to coach. I know that in order to pull off high skill plays you have to take some risk but I just wish his decision making was a bit better in some scenarios.

The sad part about Perfetti ... fans only looked at the score sheet. He only had one bad game in his scoreless slump but played good in the others and hit a few goalposts too. Its nice to see that people are finally noticing his play.
As for Ehlers if the Jets players and coaches don't know what he is doing ... imagine how the opponents feel.
Ehlers might make a bad play here and there but when the game is on the line ... I don't recall him losing games but I do recall lots of games where he had a hand in winning them.

Stanley handled him twice no problem.
Celebrini is good and looks to become the next superstar but Its tough for a rookie to come in and play best on best and do well.

3 separate winning streaks of over 7 games bodes really well for the spring. One streak is a fluke. Not 3. I am higher on the jets than ever. I'll be betting my house on them in April because they still don't have great cup odds from the bookies. Apparently Dallas and Carolina are bigger favorites. Hmm interesting.

Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action...

From what I heard on the radio, the broadcaster was saying Scheifele is still about 50 goals short, of Dale Hawerchuk, who is really the all time Jets goal scoring leader. Maybe I understood the post wrong tho ?
I think this refers to only goals scored with the Winnipeg Jets

I think Scheif will pass Dale in about 2 to 2.5 years

The NHL goes by Atlanta's history for the Jets, i don't agree with it especially since the original Jets franchise is now in Utah. So going by that history Scheifele is the Jets leading goal scorer passing Kovalchuk .

Pretty impressed with that Celebrini Smith combo, looks like they could be a threat for years to come. Was surprised to see a bit of a bite in Celebrini's game. Brave soul to go toe to toe with big Adam Lowry.

They barely play together. I think that was only 4 on 4. And PP.

Two things I really enjoyed about this game:

Adam Lowry's hits. He had some snarl in his game.

Colin Miller's shot. I think he dented the post with that late one.

Both things you want to see come playoff time.

Scheifele has already said it's Hawerchuk's goal total that will mean alot more. Personally i think the Jets 1.0 history should be ours and if Atlanta ever gets another team they can have their history back.

Got home from the game last night game with my son and most of what we talk about was holy shit is that Celebrini kid special . Then we concocked a trade deadline deal that would ship Big Stan and a fourth to Jose for Celebrini . My son said he would even consider a third instead of a fourth if Jose was not swayed .

v funny joke but in all honesty I don't think stan gets moved, as much as many of us would love that.
