Yeah he's looked to have turned it around. Hopefully the break filled up his gas tank a bit.

Ehlers was typical Ehlers tonight. a few really top notch high skill plays, and a bunch of dumb dumb plays too.

He's gotta be so frustrating to coach. I know that in order to pull off high skill plays you have to take some risk but I just wish his decision making was a bit better in some scenarios.
The sad part about Perfetti ... fans only looked at the score sheet. He only had one bad game in his scoreless slump but played good in the others and hit a few goalposts too. Its nice to see that people are finally noticing his play.
As for Ehlers if the Jets players and coaches don't know what he is doing ... imagine how the opponents feel.
Ehlers might make a bad play here and there but when the game is on the line ... I don't recall him losing games but I do recall lots of games where he had a hand in winning them.

Jets seasons with more than 40 wins, in chronological order:

1984-85: 43-27-10 for 96 points (80 games)
2014-15: 43-26-13 for 99 points (82 games)
2017-18: 52-20-10 for 114 points
2018-10: 47-30-5 for 99 points
2022-23: 46-33-3 for 95 points
2023-24: 52-24-6 for 110 points
2024-25: 41-14-3 for 85 points (58 games)

2024-25 (pace): 58-20-4 for 120 points (82 games)
40 win seasons are more common since the shootout put an end to tie games (someone's gotta get the W). Makes that 84-85 Jets team even more impressive. Hitting 40 wins in February this year is wild, though...

3 separate winning streaks of over 7 games bodes really well for the spring. One streak is a fluke. Not 3. I am higher on the jets than ever. I'll be betting my house on them in April because they still don't have great cup odds from the bookies. Apparently Dallas and Carolina are bigger favorites. Hmm interesting.
Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action... :sarcasm:

Could see the rest of the season going something like this. The winning streak isnt sustainable, I could see us hitting 112 or 113 points, finishing just beyond last year in terms of standings
