Lamoriello is great for most of the players because he blocks the outside noise more than anyone. He's bad for the fans because he reduces access to the thing we're all obsessed with.

Besides...If you really want to "enhance" the organization you'd do that just by removing Chris L.

Amen brother. I could've listened to him for another hour. In fact I think John Collins is super qualified/professional/engaging, but I didn't want the press asking him any other questions because I wanted to hear from Darche only.

100% a legit concern which is why I wanted Lou punted to the moon with ZERO ties to the Isles. Obviously I'd take this current situation, but would be much happier if the Sabres wanted an advisor.
