Especially given the timeline: Draisaitl just hit 50 goals in 18-19, and McD is primarily a setup man, yet somehow the Oilers would trade Leon for another setup man....

"f*** around and acquire"? They drafted Skinner back in 2017. Great goalies like Vasy and Shesterkin dont exactly grow on trees. Skinner helped get them to the cup final too. He busted his ass off in the Dallas series especially game 6 when the Oilers offense only put up 10 shots and won that game.

Draisatl hasn't shown he is better than Kucherov at all first of all. Your arguement will be points, but any superstar is producing when passing to McDavid all the damn time.

Kucherov legitimately has been Tampa's MVP. Last year he was in on half of the teams goals. He's a proven winner, gritier, better defensively.
