Last time I posted this lineup, someone said Houle won't give you that
which was annoyingly accurate
so today I smile :)

Do you have Mallioux making the Habs opening day roster?

Vincent would be a terrible decision.. pretty much every prospect in CBJ is mad or regressing.
It was mentioned on 32 thoughts in that Vincent was brought in to make the team as a whole accountable and that's why you saw vets play in the bottom 6 as well. Cbus wanted that with Babcock, but Babcock is a piece of shit and showed he was and got canned.

Vachon is bringing up Alex Tanguay as an option. He was an assistant coach with the Iowa Wild and has been an assistant coach in the NHL with the Detroit the last 3 years. He was also an assistant coach at the Worlds last year for Canada.
Alex Tanguay was one of Kent Hughes 1st client but he quits ti go for a bigger agency. Don’t know if that hurt their relationship

Big difference in that Veilleux moved up by going to the pro ranks and Houle would be be taking a step backwards........not gonna happen if Houle's goal is to be in the NHL at some point as a head coach.
You’re sure ?

Really wish politics didn’t have to come in to play with Laval as well

The US program has been producing most of the best young players in the game and it all starts with the great coaches and developmental people they have in place at the lower levels

Really wish we could look there for a replacement but alas it’s always the same story

A lot of coaches, trainers etc in the USA hockey system are former CHL coaches, trainers etc including QMJHL

I hope John Sedgwick isnt the decision maker for the new coach. What does he know about hockey, he's a cap specialist.

needing to speak french to work an important gig in Quebec is about as political as needing to speak mandarin to work in china.

Absolutely not a loss.

However, they need to be very careful getting the next AHL coach.

The Gainey/Brisebois era had some excellent coaching staffs in the AHL.

I hope John Sedgwick isnt the decision maker for the new coach. What does he know about hockey, he's a cap specialist.
Brisebois was a lawyer and he's the one that brought in Guy Boucher and Jon Cooper.

I understand what your going for, but I'd point out that there is a KHL team in Beijing and the HC never speaks Mandarin. Same for other sports. It is political.

Its also not really detrimental, as its pretty hard to imagine there isn't at least one good bilingual developmental coach available.

After getting called to the bar, Sedgwick has only spent 16 years working in the NHL so he probably doesn't know anything about hockey. Wish we had a former hockey player who dropped out of high school instead so we could hire the next Michel Therrien or Sylvain Lefebrve to coach in Laval.

What a f***ing clown... Good riddance.

Kojak got played, why he kept him ?

Yes, Habs had to allow Clarkson University to talk to him in the first place.

So looks like Habs management aren't sad of seeing him go.

They did not have a choice, he wanted out. Kojak wanted him back a month ago...
