They both have very negative value. No team wants either of them.

Skinner has decent value. He's a sophomore and had a solid Rookie season with a 2nd place Calder nomination.

The only goal that Skinner really could’ve stopped is ironically the 2-0 that went five hole.

Need defenders who can tie up opponents in front.

Need defenders who dont both pinch and let a 2 on 0 also.

So they'll give up a pp goal here, and probably another one like a wrist shot from center. Then Ekholm probably gets nicked up on the 3rd one.

The D has not been that bad today. The best defensive teams in the league give up good scoring chances. Goalies need to save a lot of them.

Couple deflections as well.

We need to just keep getting pucks on net and some deflections of our own.

Don't trust our PK. Or the personnel the coach has out there. Too passive, too soft. Can't clear the front of the net. Can't block cross ice passes. The worst part is blindly trying to ring the puck around the boards with a 1 % success rate. In other words. Just really dumb hockey players. Not a good recipe.

I really admire how the Canucks tighten up and play D in their zone. Active sticks, collapse to the net...wish the Oilers would play like that.

They are getting lucky too. On any given night a couple more of those scramble pucks go in.
