They had a very strong period overall and can build off that.

Carried the play 5 v 5 throughout which led to the Canucks getting hemmed and taking penalties when they were tired defending.

I thought if it was a Goalie's stick it's a penalty. But if the stick is no where close for the goalie to grab it and it's right in Drai's lane, he should be able to move it I'd think. I'll have to look up the rule but it probably includes a stupid qualifier like if the Ref THINKs the goalie can retrieve it or something.

DeSmith should hold onto his stick then, league wants more offense, yet you cant move a stick out of the way on a powerplay.

The stick was 30 feet from the goalie.
