have they? i'd be interested in comparing their playoff production

robertson career PPG in playoffs: 0.84 PPG

Kaprizov career PPG in playoffs: 0.63 PPG

small sample size for Kaprizov. Robertson has played in over twice as many playoff games than him. one thing kaprizov has going for him is his goal scoring in the playoffs… 10 goals in 19 games (0.52 goals per game) while robertson has just 14 goals in 45 games (0.31 goals per game)

He's become the worst skater in the league. In todays NHL you have to keep up. That's why (whether it works or not) there's some GMs that prioritize skating more than anything when drafting/acquiring players.
I mean based on the graphic M. Tkachuk is as bad as him as a skater but obviously has other areas of his game that makes up for it. J Rob should be able to still be a productive player if they surround him with faster players like they do with Matty (the whole team is fast) but he might not be good enough to warrant that.

He's been over a ppg player in his career and one bad season is concerning? It's an off season nothing more.

He looks like a completely diff player out there. He’s 2nd on the team in TOI for forwards and leads them in PP time, yet only has 15 points / 0.6 p/g after effectively being a point-per-game player the last 4 seasons. He doesnt pass the eye test for me

It could still turn around for him, but I’m incredibly concerned

Despite 5 pts in last 5 games, he still looks…off out there. Hopefully he’s turning the corner, but I’m still not so sure

The fact that Jason Robertson of all people is over a PPG for his career just shows how easy it is to score now. There was a time around 10 years ago where I believe there were only 4 players over a PPG for their careers (Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, and Jagr)

Wow, lots of sh.t talking about the guy with 335 points in 322 games. I almost feel some strong bias in the air. Who cares about his foot surgery and rehab period, he is certainly “done”.

This is weird, because Luc Robitaille exists. Exactly what amount of scoring by bad skaters is correct? Which precise year do we hearken back to? If Jason Allison had a time machine, would he be allowed to use it, or would the fundamental nature of Jason Allison preclude such endeavors? The people deserve to know.
