Jarret Stoll Appreciation Thread

Funny to read the exact same criticisms about Stoll from another fanbase. Rangers fans weren't enthused with Stoll either. He was a great team player here but the game has passed him by.

Now I am curious to see what happens with him and Richards this offseason.

I think both are done in the NHL. Stoll I'd be wiling to bet the house, Richards may get another shot with a contender. If I see a single post from a King fan hoping either return I'll either flip my lid or pop my top.

I imagine LA would not be allowed to bring back richards. would be hilarious if they were able to for like $900K just to see all the posters pissed about cap circumvention.

That said LA would be better off with Dowd and Andy A down the middle,

Will always remember his goal that knocked the almight Canucks out of the playoffs. He was a true warrior, but his time here was done. I wish him luck in the future...

I saw one play against Pittsburgh in the playoffs-Richards and Crosby were battling for a puck behind the goalie, Crosby bumped Richards, took off with the puck and made a play and Richards was pretty much just standing there. Literally no balance or power in his stride. 39 games played, 5 points, 12:11 ice time a game, he's done in the NHL. He went from April 2nd to May 10th without scoring a single point.

Richards looked pretty bad in the playoffs. If he didn't have the resume that he's had throughout his career, I'm not sure if he'd even be given a chance.
