Short exposure in NA and he injured himself before Extraliga season started.what's the knock on him and why did he fall?
He only played a handful of games in the OHL. A lot of scouts don't spend a ton of time watching the Czech league where he played the other half of the year. He was also -12 in 25 games lolwhat's the knock on him and why did he fall?

His skating isnt what you’d expect from a higher end scoring prospect. His stride’s a little awkward and to me anyways, doesn’t seem very quick. It’s not horrible, but probably contributed to his drop out of the 1st round.
OK so I've heard that he's both a breakaway machine and Paul Byron's replacement AND that his skating is weak. His skating isnt what you’d expect from a higher end scoring prospect. A small guy who can't skate isn't a good sign. His skating isnt what you’d expect from a higher end scoring prospect. His stride’s a little awkward and to me anyways, doesn’t seem very quick. It’s not horrible, but probably contributed to his drop out of the 1st round.
FWIW, that was the knock on Brayden Point his draft year.
I have stood next to him and spoken to him a couple of times in street clothes.
Last time in January at WJC
He was 5'9-5'10. I am 5'11 and was bigger.
Quite broad though for height. Frame to grow into.
Great draft so far
.....isn't that the whole idea of the draft? You're not getting a legit NHL ready player outside the Top 3. You swing for the fences.lol, its been awful thus far, are you watching this year's draft? We have not picked up any legit players, just super projects.
