Looked like it barely crossed the line. The last angle looked conclusive. I got scared there.
 
Malkin blew his defensive coverage on Downie, and Khudobin flubbed the goal right after.

Weak play by Khudobin not to cover the short side, Malkin gave up on the play too. He was already thinking about going up the ice when Downie was coming out from behind the net.

What's the score and how are both teams looking in the early part of the game?

I'm not really rooting for anyone in this game, but it should be a good one.
 
Wow, Canada is playing inspired this game. No wonder the refs are calling lots of penalties, it is so intense that the refs are afraid it will get out of hand and I think they are right. By far the best Canada has played in this tournament so far. Pogge just fended off a furious onslaught. Wow another goal!

Edit: Malkin is being schooled.
