The NHL has a 99% vaccination rate, which is pretty staggering. It is estimated that fewer than 15 players could be unvaccinated by the start of the season.

How did the NHL get such a high number of vaccinated players?

I guess Trouba's wife didnt get a job in NYC right away, for whatever reason. I know that was one of the reasons he wanted to come to NY when he was traded for.

Given the way Rangers are a top-class organization at helping their players get dinner reservations, show tickets, and more, I'm surprised they don't have a program for helping SO's get reacclimated and find roles in specific industries. Not the first time I've heard of a player's wife not be able to move comfortably and often times that player seems to not play as well and turn over more quickly.

Just a thought.

Well who knows if she felt So Florida was a better fit for whatever she wants to do with her career. Maybe she needed more experience somewhere before going for something in NYC. Who knows. Interesting thought though

She’s a resident if I’m not mistaken. She has limited control over where she matches in residency. It’s not like other jobs. It’s kind of a random matching process.

Bump. I felt the need to do this, because I am feeling extremely guilty about things I've said, and how I'm eating a large portion of crow (of course with salt and pepper).

It has become very apparent to me now, that this man is a beast. He left a lot to be desired last year, but I guess it's the same old story about a new environment and how it's difficult to acclimate it to oneself. So with that being said, I'm going to go on the ledge and say I am now thrilled that we have this guy, he is a force to be reckoned with, and a player that you win with in the playoffs.
Not even to mention the fact that he's bringing along k'Andre and he too will prosper from this trade. Kudos to you Troubs, and thanks for the meal, it wasnt half bad.

He was playing pretty damn well towards the end of last season as well until he got injured, let's not forget. He just picked up where he left off

His offensive numbers here will never be that great due to very little PP time, but I think he can still chip in 30 or so points a season ala Girardi.

Relax. He went from 8 Mil Mayfield to 8 Mil Edmundson? Graves? IDK, still workshopping it.

Trouba's general play has seemed to me to be pretty similar to last year (which was way better than his first year here) but there is an additional snarl this year that has been especially noticable on a team that already has a lot of grit in the lineup.

We won the Trouba - Pionk trade. Can’t believe I’m finally saying it because I liked Pionk. Trouba has been unbelievable though.

Think Winnipeg still has the edge because of the pick. It's really hard to fault the move at the time though.

Yeah, remember how Heinola played 8 games post draft, putting up 5 points, and he was the best thing since sliced bread? He has only played 5 games since then, with no points. He's only 20 and doing well in the AHL, but it still remains to be seen what he will ultimately be at the NHL level. If he ends up being great for them, oh well. It's not like we are short on defensive prospects.

My significant other is a fellow at a hospital in queens. It is NOT easy to switch programs. Not impossible, but VERY difficult. Glad she gave him the proper information, and that he's helped his team mates with that. Good on the guy.

Even though his underlying numbers aren't stellar it doesnt seem to make much of a difference right now.

Trouba is lighting people up, stepping up physically, scoring goals, being hard to play against around the net and making sound exits up the ice.

He's really become a leader on this team and this is the best he's played since his Jet days. When you have this pair contributing the way they have in addition to Fox and Lindgren it really locks shit down.

I respect Stillman for going with Trouba to stand up for his teammate but oh man, Trouba whooped the poor guy lol. Didn't stand a chance and probably knew it since he was trying to wrestle him into the Hawks bench for some reason

the Hawks looked so...........helpless last night. the Rangers were just burying them all over the ice and they had no real response. it was almost sad because Chicago can eat 1000 dicks.

Trouba is starting to look like the guy we hoped we were getting. He steamrolled at least three guys last night and contributed offensively. With Fox and Trouba, it feels like the Rangers have an all star defenseman on the ice virtually the entire game now.

Don’t forget about Nemeth!! 3 all stars!

The quietest Geordie Howe Hat Trick ever. Dude is seriously playing great right now. Please no one put this on the main board as it would be a major health concern for the haters to acknowledge this.
