Wouldn't be surprised that he wants out. Looks like so.
Where would he go, to the AHL?

Maybe he meant another NHL team, maybe Ottawa, he was born near Ottawa and played in the OHL for Ottawa.Where would he go, to the AHL?
Quinn was kind of always like that? Falling and shooting. It is kind of his thing his hesitation in his shot and shooting and falling. It looked like it was an injury or his legs were just really weak right now. He was falling, tripping. Maybe he needs to do more leg work in the gym, Idk.
Funny, I am a Sens fan perusing this thread because I can see Staios looking to Quinn as someone worth adding. I have no clue what the deal would look like, or if Adams is even really open to moving Quinn.Maybe he meant another NHL team, maybe Ottawa, he was born near Ottawa and played in the OHL for Ottawa.
How did Adams get this rep as being great at drafting when if you look at his drafts other than Power (free space), JJ and Benson none of these players has amounted to anything so far and several (like Quinn) look like colossal busts?
The problem is he is not an NHL quality player right now and needs to be in Rochester figuring it out. Unfortunately waiver rules make that impossible so he gets to "develop" by getting crushed in the NHL on a nightly basis.Quinn looks like young player having a slump, not a colossal bust. Going on games played, this is mid point of what amounts to his 2nd NHL season. Young players don't develop linearly.
Or we can take the hyperbole and run with it. Sprint, even.
No matter how frustrated you are with...13 years! You can't fast forward time, theres nothing you can do about it. Physical maturity, development & experience takes years unfortunately, outside of the rare exceptions. How did Adams get this rep as being great at drafting when if you look at his drafts other than Power (free space), JJ and Benson none of these players has amounted to anything so far and several (like Quinn) look like colossal busts?

Hard to say, but Quinn's value isn't that great right now considering he's struggling. We need a top 4 RD, and I doubt we'll find one in Ottawa, since it seems like that's a problem position for you guys too, and it's a shame our idiot GM couldn't add a guy like Jensen in the offseason. As for forwards, I really liked Pinto back in the day, but it seems like his stats aren't looking good lately either. I've seen Greig mentioned on the main boards, but I don't know much about him. Quinn won't bring back any big guys like Batherson, even with a plus. So that's basically it. We really need a top 4 defensive RD and a top 6 C, a top 6 W wouldn't hurt either, that's why I mentioned Batherson.Funny, I am a Sens fan perusing this thread because I can see Staios looking to Quinn as someone worth adding. I'd do Greig + Quinn ngl.Hard to say, but Quinn's value isn't that great right now considering he's struggling. And I'm not sure, because I don't know much about Greig, and I'm a little suspicious that you're so willing to do this.I'd do Greig + Quinn ngl.
Dach It seems he also fell in a similar way, and injuries were also possibly one of the reasons. I think quite a few young players selected in the top 15 fall like this.In some fairness to the organization, the drop-off in Quinn’s play has been well outside of any normal season to season variance. I never bought the Quinn is “the straw that will stir the drink” narrative that was circulating in the summer and early fall, but at worst I thought he was a 15-20 goal, 40-45 point, middle-six player who would not hurt you defensively. I don’t recall a player dropping off so profoundly at such a young age, not only in relation to expectation but just in relation to past performance.
I feel Greig + a small piece for Quinn would help both teams. Sens have a lot of C depth but not much skilled winger depth. Greig has succeeded the most as a C especially when paired with skilled wingers. Quinn's skillset would be perfect for Timmy on the Sens as well. And I'm not sure, because I don't know much about Greig, and I'm a little suspicious that you're so willing to do this.
