No, I don't think the organization or the fanbase has a concern with him being injury prone. He's played in all 50 games this season. It's not like the grind took a toll on his body. It's freak accidents.

It definitely has to be a little bit of a concern, he gets injured every season:

Specualtion is shoulder, possibly from the fall in at the All - Star game?

he played monday and looked just fine. asg play seems like an extreme reach, feels more like looking for someone to blame. unless i missed something later he showed absolutely no reaction in the moment or after to the play and didnt look restricted against van. sucks for the devils because hes obviously their most important player and having a huge year. hes had shoulder issues in the past though so hope its not that. not sure what specifically his were, but guys i played with that wrecked a shoulder always them come back until they had a labrum repair, which is a long recovery.

Not sure why it's a reach when there was no noticeable play in the most recent game that would've caused an injury and Jack was on the ice for the OT winner.

It is somewhat concerning, but he’s still very young and growing into his body. The guy gets all the attention from the opposing teams and he’s playing over 20 minutes a night, seemed bound to happen eventually. The team needs to take a serious look at his work load until he builds more muscle.

Personally, I think he’ll be just fine. He’s got plenty of time in his career to get stronger, the Devils will hopefully get some help scoring-wise so he doesn’t need to play a top pairing defenseman’s worth of minutes every night

As far as I know, nothing happened in the Vancouver game that would have accounted for it (at least, I don't remember anything) but he also looked fine that entire game, so I really have no idea where this came from either.

It's 100% a concern, but it depends on how many he misses.

If he misses like 5 games or if every year he's playing 75 games, I'm honestly not going to be that concerned about it. If he's missing 20 games a season, it's an issue.

He didnt take any hit in the game vs the Canucks.

My guess is its from the All Star game and he tried to play through it during the Canucks game but it flared up afterwards and the team is not messing around taking any chances.

I doubt this one is serious as the last two, he played an entire game with no noticeable limp and finished the game in OT. Also the ones in 21-22, he got body slammed by a dmen that would break 99% of the league's collarbone + the other one he took a knee to knee.

Blaming Tkachuk is a massive stretch.

It is mainly because we don't even really know what the injury is. If it is that shoulder and he just played through it against Vancouver, I could see it being the Tkachuk move, but it could just as easily be anything else on his upper body, tbh. For all we know it's his upper back, or a wrist or whatever.

I thought he was already labelled as injury prone?

Bit we've seen guys overcome this and just have a bad spiel if injuries in their career. Crosby has been pretty good for 10 years, and Stamkos missed a lot of time in a short span and pretty solid now too.

For some it never gets fixed, hopefully Hughes is one that is just unlucky

Why do you doubt this one isnt serious?

They have said week to week not day to day.
