I love Jack and they way he's playing. I'd also love to see him getting a good chunk of starts and playoffs.

But I have to say that his whole injury thing is a little frustrating. I mean watching him play a game then sit out the next 4 or 5 games is far from ideal. Why are mgmt/Keefe starting him if he only aggravates the injury? We supposedly have the best trainers and medical staff money can buy so what exactly are they doing?

Didn't Keefe say Saturday that Campbell was starting tonight? Now there's this tweet by Shilton that they need to "monitor" his status and are hopeful he can start tonight. I don't trust the Leafs at all with injuries anymore. How can you keep playing a guy when it's clear he's aggravating the injury he's supposed to be recovering from every game he plays? Just throw Hutchinson in there until he's either healed or we trade for a new goalie. This just seems stupid what they're doing with Campbell right now.

Tonight was a great example. He had a .897 sv% but he didn’t let a weak one that demotivated the team. He also had timely saves that kept the Flames from breaking the game open. Such a big difference from Andersen.

I like Andersen but it seems his time has passed.

Campbell is our defacto number 1. Even if Freddy comes back, he missed too much time and will take awhile to get back to games shape. Honestly at this point it feels like Dubas is stalling putting Freddy on ltir. Maybe not wanting to tip his hand before the trade deadline. I would not be surprised if he trades for a goalie the day he puts Freddy on ltir. We obviously not trading for another #1 but a tandem type to spell Campbell in case if injury and have hutch in the back in case as a #3 where he should be.
