God that looks good, love my boy, all non beleafers bow down to the man who shall take us to the promise land, you never believed me, you never believed in him.

the pattern continues

guys on this forum were crying when Reimer was gone. even years later guys here were still loving him and yearning his return

then Andersen had his fanboys in here... and again more tears when he left

and now here we go with Campbell. Guys here are falling in love with another leaf goalie lol

one thing in common with all 3 goalies is that they all exhibit somewhat of a softer, quiet and gentle personality. Wonder if that has anything to do with all the love

Holy shit, fans of a sports team liking their players, you're on to something here

A bit of North League hockey in there but still crazy amazing.

This is another poorly timed Dubas contract.
What was wrong with the North? Currently, Edmonton and Calgary 2 points out in their division, Winnipeg leading their division, We are 2 points out in our division lead and nobody from the old North are in the Metro. Oh and Montreal who finished 4th in the North went to the Stanley Cup final. The North was solid.

I thought good guys finish last? Love Jack Campbell. Amazing person, teammate and player.

who are those two other guys trailing him? Never heard of ‘em

The issue is we only played those 6. And to claim any of them are top contenders is a farce barring a miracle

Hey it was the be all playoffs and the team that finished 4th in the North went to the final. One of the best 2 teams in the league. Or so they say.

And this season they are playing everyone and doing very well for the most part.

Yep, Stockholm syndrome. A bunch of American fans on general board called the North the weak divisions so many folks on here parroted them.

In fact, the North was the 2nd or 3rd best division...perfectly average and contained no less than 4 teams capable of making the finals and thus winning the cup if they got healthy and hot at the right time.

This needs to be put on the Mains, since it's yours, I'll let you do it

I still think it was a big mistake to sign Mrazek. Not only is he made of tissue paper, but even when he's healthy, he's a pretty meh goaltender. Never been a fan of his game.

Campbell continues to prove he's the real deal.

Lol

Campbell is certainly at the top of his game and putting in consistent performances night after night.

If Campbell does go down to injury Leafs are in lot of trouble.

Campbell, Reimer, Andersen. We must be amazing at developing goalies??

:) they were already developed when they got here, our expertise in Toronto is messing them the F up... and then sending them somewhere else to play really good. Is Bernier still in the League?

If you are looking for reasons to be negative and an alarmist, sure.

I think you are WAY over reacting to @Mess post ... everything he said is true, if Campbell goes down we are F-ed... his play is making up for A LOT of systematic coaching flaws ... Campbell makes this team look like a top 5 team, any other goalie that we have tried this year makes us look like a bottom 5 team. I love Campbell cause he is an amazing goalie and a nice guy but he is buying Keefe more runway and that pisses me off cause Keefe is one of the top 2 problems with this team.

Campbell has never started more than 25 games in a season in his entire career as a backup goalie, and has a history of injury problems in his past.

We don't know at this point how he will hold up to full starter workload, as it was suppose to be a tandem effort this year as you don't pay your backup $3.5 mil X 2 years not to play.

Right now Soup is giving us steady reliable goaltending and making key saves particularly late in games to give the Leafs every opportunity to come away with a win. With Leafs struggling to score on nights its been his goaltending that has made the biggest impact in the outcome of games. IMO

Truth is actually the Leafs' system is boosting Jack's surface numbers.

Though Jack is still good even without the boost.

Yeah I found it all amazing. At the time I pointed out to them, McDavid, Draisaitl, Mathews, the 3 best forwards in the league the past 2 seasons and Hellebuyck the defending Vezina winner all played in the North. All 4 in one division. The response I got, the numbers are inflated. LMAO! were they inflated 2 seasons ago. Are they inflated this year? I really don't miss posting over there.
