As i saidNo, it is Sandin, Kerfoot, Robertson and a first. The poster does ask for retention.

It is obvious that he is a proven playoff producer though. As i said
He's a goal scorer. 13 in 32 doesn't scream goal scorer when you need it.
Why? Matthews has 24 points in his 32 playoff games. He is a proven playoff producer.
Not at his price. It is obvious that he is a proven playoff producer though.
I guess I just found out the Brodie is playing 2nd pairing
One we don't want Marner for same reason he's dumped on by Leafs fans. Second you realize Nylander is only signed 1 season past Miller until UFA? We don't want Nylander either for Miller. Both good players I might add just don't match our needs. They ain't getting Nylander or Marner lol
As someone who dislikes the Canucks, I have to say you're not great at viewing trades from the perspective of the other team. Vancouver has no need for Kerfoot, no need for a small, injury prone forward prospect and little need for a left handed D prospect, regardless of where they're positioned on Toronto's depth chart.am i taking crazy pills here?
a 1st, sandin AND robertson AND KERFOOT for a player we dont need?!
and yet VANCOUVER is the one that should be saying no?!?!
holy hell man I understand that a lot of people here have a hate boner for the leafs but this is just ridiculous! This is in no way at all fair value and if you think that it is there is a reason you post to these forums instead of actually working at a job for an NHL Team.
so youre meaning to tell me that when retained to roughly the same value, a player that is on a 90 point pace is worth the equivalent of 2 1sts and a high 2nd MORE than a player on a 60 point pace???
youre telling me that to get an extra 30 points out of 1 player we should pay our highest rated defensive prospect, a 1st round pick and one of our most highly touted forward prospects?!?
let me make an example of how ridiculous this sounds.
The leafs will trade you TJ Brodie (25% Retained) for Rathbone, Podkolzin, a 1st and Tyler Myers
One of your top 2 forward prospects, your next big defensive prospect, your 1st and a similar but lesser skilled player.
That sound absolutely ridiculous doesn't it?
really? its actually hilarious that Canuck fans think this is a bad offer.
I am willing to bet my whole account that by the end of Miller's contract this trade would have been laughable.

They can find much better offers elsewhere for a player you're severely underrating if you see them as a small upgrade on Kerfoot, a vanilla complimentary scoring winger.
ummm thats actually a really good pkg that any actual hockey GM would be all over.Okay. You can keep thinking that. I can understand you don’t know what JT is about, considering he plays on the west coast. With that being said, I wouldn’t be shocked if some (not all) Leafs fans think that a 1st + Sandin + Kerfoot is enough to get someone like even Chychrun (ironically, Canucks are looking for a package similar to what Arizona wants for him).

you are obv clueless about Kerfoot and Sandin. But Kerfoot! Sandin!!!

Kerfoot is killing it lately and plays all over our line up and has decent value
Sandin is developing into a solid 2 way D with a bit of an edge, again good value
1st-obv has value
IMO to the Leafs, Kerfoot is prob valued more than our own 1st. If we had to go out and buy a guy to do all he does at the same scoring and defence level it would cost us more than a 1st.define decent value? I'm sure you leaf fans think he's worth a 1st now but other teams look at more than 30 games.
late 1st, a forward who has 30 good games but was always a #3c before, and a good d prospect isn't going to get a #1d. you start this conversation every couple days and then go into hiding
I get that but other teams are going to look at more than just this season. And other teams would prefer younger player who have shown more consistency.IMO to the Leafs, Kerfoot is prob valued more than our own 1st.
