It's a credible effort in the sense that I can see that you are trying to offer legitimate value instead of just dumping prospects you hate and cap eaters.

With that said, it doesn't fill our needs at all. We are a small team, we don't need a Nick Robertson in a trade for a power forward.

Sandin looks fairly promising, but he is a small LD (I believe) which we have a surplus of, and Kerfoot is again a small player. With that said, Kerfoot is fast and we could use some speed so if the other parts worked Kerfoot would be fine.

I think Vancouver would be very disappointed if we don't find an offer that is better value and more fitted to our needs. But again, it's a credible offer.

Aggregate value may be "okay" (in an EA Sports Franchise Mode trade screen sort of way) but the return doesn't check any boxes for Vancouver.

Leafs don't really have what Canucks are looking for, at least when you exclude all their important main roster guys.
They ain't getting Nylander or Marner lol

9 playoff goals in 78 playoff games.
hmmm....
he's good in the regular season but I'm looking for a playoff producer
leafs need playoff scoring, maybe miller isn't the one I'm looking for

His only playoff run with Vancouver was over ppg... but if you want to continue to value Miller based on his career before Vancouver then thats on you. Besides Toronto is not the ideal trading partner for the Canucks anyways.

am i taking crazy pills here?

a 1st, sandin AND robertson AND KERFOOT for a player we dont need?!

and yet VANCOUVER is the one that should be saying no?!?!

holy hell man I understand that a lot of people here have a hate boner for the leafs but this is just ridiculous! This is in no way at all fair value and if you think that it is there is a reason you post to these forums instead of actually working at a job for an NHL Team.

so youre meaning to tell me that when retained to roughly the same value, a player that is on a 90 point pace is worth the equivalent of 2 1sts and a high 2nd MORE than a player on a 60 point pace???

youre telling me that to get an extra 30 points out of 1 player we should pay our highest rated defensive prospect, a 1st round pick and one of our most highly touted forward prospects?!?

let me make an example of how ridiculous this sounds.

The leafs will trade you TJ Brodie (25% Retained) for Rathbone, Podkolzin, a 1st and Tyler Myers

One of your top 2 forward prospects, your next big defensive prospect, your 1st and a similar but lesser skilled player.

That sound absolutely ridiculous doesn't it?

Well you comparing a 31 year-old 2nd pair D-man to a 28 year-old 1st line forward probably explains some of your confusion.
