Galbavy was better today, but overall he is our top3 forward with Galbavy and Bucek.

Did you really think that of Galbavý today? To me it seemed like he played pretty selfishly, overplayed with the puck instead of passing/shooting it...

A great game between Finland and Russia today. I quite liked Kuokkanen on the Finnish side.

I also wanted to praise the choice of music played during stopages after the first game, but they lost me at Carly Rae Jepsen during the second game...

How do you think Finland has been better than Canada? By the numbers it seems to me that Finland is second only to Canada. Is it how they've looked? Or do you think there has been difference in the relative level of competition between the groups?

Personally, I think Canada has played well. The low scores of the first two games do not reflect the level at which Canada controlled the play.

Finland has obviously been good, too. Too hard to say who's playing better, imo.

At least this U18 squad plays like a team. And strong goaltending. Both goals were pretty.

Not the worst scenario to be underdog to Finland in a semis?

Czech republic vs Sweden 0:2
Even match I would say. Both teams had chances. It is dissapointment, though we put a team effort against Canada, beat Switzerland and were a good opponent for Sweden.
I hope Canada wins it all, with Finland being finalist. I just can't cheer for any other European nation than Czech republic. (Maybe Slovakia)

I like that strong goaltending part. It would be awesome if we could get a really really good goalie into Swedish hockey besides Lundy.

The Finnish team is rather mediocre. Not that the Swedish team is the best ever either, but I don't think you guys are the underdogs. The B-group as a whole lacked talent with Sokolov, Sergachev, Abramov, Laine, Juolevi and Puljujärvi staying home and USA bringing a poor team. It didn't require that much from Finland to win that group.

does anyone know if this tournment will be streamed in north america?

surprised that tsn is not showing it...

I just contacted hockeystreams to see if they could play the remaining games. Everyone else should do the same that's a member and maybe we can get them on.
