Demidov will be just fine, I mean I'm not trying to make excuse for him but he did play an entire season in Russia, 65gp and another 14 in the playoffs.

Caufield came over after 31 games in the NCAA and 10 regular season games before playoffs.

He has already looked much better in the 2nd half of last night's game compared to game 1. I'm really not concerned about his play and how he will develop into a beast!

I’m a bit disappointed, I was expecting an impact similar to Caufield when he came up, but to be fair, he’s younger, came later into the season, and he’s not playing with players who can match his skills.

Caufield had 1 point in his first 5 playoff games. You're remembering it wrong. No immediate impact.

There was a lot of hype.... Then next season 1 goal in 30 games.

That was after learning in the NCAA for 2 years. Demidov hasn't had that opportunity.

The rebuild isn't complete, and Demidov even playing with the Habs at all this season was not a given. Patience, grasshopper.

It's a big adjustment going from KHL to the NHL playoffs in terms of speed and intensity. I think Demidov will be ok. Like pretty much all prospects, it's just going to take some time. He clearly has skill and will.
