This was Crosby's team in his rookie year. This team finished last in their division and got the 2nd OA pick (Jordan Stasl). Very reminiscent of Chicago last season who finished last in their division and got the 2OA pick (Levshunov).

Im not here saying Bedard is rrash but he's definitely not generational. I was on here saying so back in 2023 calling him this next generations Patty Kane. Crosby had such a shitty team and still showed out his rookie year. Bedard just isn't that guy.

It would be pretty big if they could get him to spend the off-season in Montreal. He could start working with the staff early and get a head start on getting to know his new environment/teammates. It would really help his rookie season tremendously IMO.

This is the plan for Ivan to spend as much time with the team to be on set with the team's system. So now he has earned a break, and after that will spend the summer working with Suzuki!
