Now Demidov is Kucherov? Lol, this place at times is bonkers.
Of course not, there's a context, and you missed it.
Just exposing the unidirectional "I'm taking the 1C 1D before a 1W" lazy rethoric.

He's a Hab, this is what's been happening to our prospects around here.People don't realize Demidov will probably have the best season ever in the KHL for an U20. And that includes players like Ovi, Malkin, Kucherov, Panarin, Kaprizov, etc.
Oh and he's doing it at an even younger age.
i personaly think he will be a top 10 player (and more) in the league for years to come
2002. Columbus traded from #3 to #1 to get Rick Nash. Florida wanted Bouwmeester, which they still got due to some sort of negotiations with Atlanta, who took Lehtonen at 2.It doesn't matter, every year it's the same thing. When was the last time a 1st OA was traded?
GMs and Scouting teams (the only opinions that actually matter) follow these players and have clear favorites. Being more developed doesn't matter when draft time comes. No GM is trading 1st OA, unless it's an overpay. Demidov wouldn't even be the main piece to get 1st OA.
There are probably 5 players on the Habs that are more valuable then Demidov.
And you think someone is giving up 1st OA for the 5th best player?
Demidov is almost 2 years older than next draftees
huh he was drafted one draft agoDemidov is almost 2 years older than next draftees and its doubtul that Habs will be on the last 10 teams next year so I thnk Demidov os a better fit in the rebuild but who knows, this team still need a 2nd center and even if Demidov can have a shot to play at that spot, a center could be a huge add. So its a maybe
Still born in December 2005... which is like 9 months older than Eiserman didnt know that Hagens was a late too.huh he was drafted one draft ago
Me neither.i wouldn't trade Demidov for anyone in the next draft
Less than a year older than Martone as well as Hagens. I would absolutely love to grab Schaefer but I would somewhat reluctantly still hold on to Demidov at this point and fairly easily over the other forwardsDemidov is almost 2 years older than next draftees and its doubtul that Habs will be on the last 10 teams next year so I thnk Demidov os a better fit in the rebuild but who knows, this team still need a 2nd center and even if Demidov can have a shot to play at that spot, a center could be a huge add. This is an all-time funny post. The KHL level has dropped so far over the past couple of years and we see it time and time again with players coming over. Look at his teammates on SKA, a 34 year old having a career year, the league isn't good and there hasn't been an appropriate mindset shiftCelebrini is good but Demidov should've been 1st overall last year and would easily be this year. The number of teams scared of drafting Russians just blows my mind. Still can't believe both Michkov and Demidov fell like they did.
It sucks being a hawks fan right now because the team is losing. Nobody is worried about Montreal. Laine lolIts gotta suck to be a Hawks fan right now.
Imagine watching your team trying to ask Columbus for a panicked do-over less than an hour after they picked 2oa. Passing on Michkov sucked for a while but it really doesn't sting at all now that Demidov and Laine landed in our lap.
Again my bad for taking a shot at your teamIt sucks being a hawks fan right now because the team is losing. Nobody is worried about Montreal. Laine lol
No, Demidov is untouchableThis highly skilled stud muffin was drafted 5OA and so far has justified that ranking, and then some. How much would a team be willing to shell out for one of, if not the, most prized asset not currently in the NHL?
Would a team drafting 1OA in 2025 do a one for one swap?

Depends on which teams would value Schaefer more than Demidov.Nobody is trading 1st OA for any player that hasn't played a game in the NHL.
GMs, whether right or wrong, have shown they aren't exactly over the moon over offensive russian wingers.Depends on which teams would value Schaefer more than Demidov.
Sennecke, Lindstrom, Levshunov. It's an okay top 4 this year but Demidov would be ranked ahead of all of them.

You keep referencing those three like we haven’t seen another year from each player and know that Demidov is light years ahead of those playersSennecke, Lindstrom, Levshunov.
NHL GMs perception, whether right or wrong, is not the same. And it's not in favour of russian wingers
