Someone ought to stand up to Rotto and tell him he’s FLIRTING WITH WW3
No kiddingThe hysterics in this thread are just.......
So predictable that Demidov's benching results in posts about Putin!, Demidov won't be allowed to leave!, evil Russia, the War!!, My god it's like clockwork. lolol
The fact remains - Rotenberg is the joke of Russian hockey. It's sucks that Demidov had to deal with him. Regardless, Demidov WILL be in Montreal next year at the latest, and he will be a great player for the Habs.
You do not eat them?It may surprise some people but Russians, just like other countries, generally want to see our kids do well
Only when they misbehaveYou do not eat them?
No kidding
Everyone wants to talk about Russia all the time yet nobody knows the first thing about Russia, it really gets old
It may surprise some people but Russians, just like other countries, generally want to see our kids do well
Sadly it takes longer for some others to figure this outI've learned over the last 2 years that the stupid shit SKA does is specific to Rotenberg and not anything else.
Valid point .It wouldn't be hard if he were already here. But he's in Russia, so it's incredibly hard.
I'll tap the sign again, but the infrastructure that previously existed to facilitate this type of transaction no longer exists.
It's a state owned company controlling the largest natural gas reserves in the world, of course it's got nothing to do with money. Just one of the most corrupt countries in the world doing what they know best
US has been just as corrupt for over a century, just more subtle and sophisticated.
And what if MSL PP strategy is having Slaf block the opposing goalie view? To be a presence in front of the net? He does all the dirty work in the pp.You don't need a power forward on the PP. Slaf has 8 PPP. He's the first to get replaced by Demi, unless Laine goes away.
I've heard of agents giving substantial loans to players in certain circumstances. I don't know why something like that couldn't simply be the case. It seems like the easiest, most probably way to buy out his contract. I doubt a hockey player with his pedigree would have any issue finding a loan. I don't know his family or their financial situation, but he might have also received an inheritance. I don't think there's really any need for behind the Scenes shenanigans, but maybe I'm too naive.
Every sentence of your postabout what?
Yep, would recommend a couple Whitney Webb books for anyone curious about the topic. It goes much further than lobbying.
Loved every minute of that series. They're willing to torpedo games and pretend their leading points guy is a liability.
This is going to be like an episode of "The Americans"
Yeah but lobbying specially in the US is pretty much literally corruption with a different name. It always make me laugh when some naive people say we are not corrupted to the bone.It goes much further than lobbying.
It's not much better. Let's stop defending an autocratic regime.
Try read a book once in your life if you sincerely believe in that. Last time I looked at the Washington Capitals aren't employing Trump Jr. as their Coach, GM and president of Hockey operations while simultaneously feeding them with resources that no other team can compete with. For all the lovely folk in here who still believe in fairies such as keeping politics out of hockey, I wonder why did Putin in his first call with the US president in ovr 3 years specifically mention how he wanted to see American NHL players play against Russian KHL players? Hockey is a political tool as good as any for these people. I have no fears about Demidov's safety, but you can never anticipate what a monkey with a grenade in it's hand will do after allUS has been just as corrupt for over a century, just more subtle and sophisticated.

Feed them to the bears!!!Only when they misbehave
I’m really not though because you have no idea what you’re talking aboutYou're gonna need to be a lot more specific if you're going to claim some errors in there.
