So you want him to be Todd Bertuzzi? Turn the tables, how would you react if someone just started throwing punches at one of our guys even though he wasn't going to fight?
Team is soft. Period. Don't show physicality. Miller gone for a while, Ritchie a goal scorer and not going to fight, leaves Ritchie. Again you can't convince me that he couldn't have grabbed Lemieux and started punching him. Show something.

Fully agree... It's not just fighting, it's fighting for the puck, hitting everything in sight and showing passion. This team is soft and coming playoffs it will be same old same old.

I don’t think this team is soft. I think 1.) they are missing two very important physical defenders right now and as a result teams are overwhelming our younger/not so great defensemen with a heavy forecheck and 2.) The fourth line/bottom 6 players that are capable of being physical for some reason are not bringing it.

When healthy I am not concerned about this team being soft. I am concerned about not enough experience on the left side of our defense and five on five scoring.

Still... Can't tell me Frederic couldn't have grabbed any player and start pummeling them? Even if Lemieux turtles and takes a few punches with Frederic going to the box it's still going to help the team even if there is a penalty. Couldn't have been worse than what we witnessed. Maybe I'm just bitter as I thought they addressed the tough issue with Ritchie, Miller and Frederic.

He does that and then gets suspended. Maybe loses his spot from a suspension.

Frederic mentioned the code before. The code includes both guys being willing.

I know we just added Tinordi on waivers but looking at some pending UFA left shot defensemen that the Bruins could target via trade...one of these guys is more of what I had in mind rather than scouring the waiver wire...

Jamie Oleksiak- Dallas is behind in games played but still, they haven’t looked great. Oleksiak was a big part of their run and they leaned on him heavily, he played some big minutes. His TOI this year is up compared to his career average playing nearly 19 minutes a game.

Ian Cole- Wild are playing well so doubtful they are looking to subtract but Cole is a pending UFA and can play either side.

Imagine we did Debrusk zboril and Senshyn for Forsberg.

The 2015 thread would come alive!!!
And the lineup would too. Of course it doesn't cure the other problems, namely a LD. Ekhom and Forsberg and another RW would transform this team. Win another Cup this year or next and then when the time comes for a rebuild these guys can be flipped for first and second round picks. Time is wasting away and moves need to be made now or we can just dismantle the core and look at the rebuild starting asap. This beating around the bush and not doing what's needed is aggravating. Problem is that if/when they start the rebuild I have little/no faith in SweeNeely to lead it. Hello Jim Rutherford, Boston Calling.....:help::popcorn:

During the game at Tahoe the the announcers mentioned that Marc Staal would be a decent add for the Bruins. I don't think anyone here has picked up on that.

Billy Jaffe just mentioned Buffalo may shop Taylor Hall soon. Although 1 goal in 17 games would he garner any interest?! 12 points total.

I’d flip a 2nd for a retained Hall as a pure rental.

Hall - Krejci - Smith
Ritchie - Coyle - Studnicka/ Bjork

*In this scenario I’d look to flip DeBrusk for a dman.
This is a no brainer.....We should have signed him from the start. DeBrusk for Hanifan would be nice and they might do it....

Your right I can't convince you that your thought process is asinine.
