Another good thing about facing the Bruins: Their fans are a lot civil than idiotic Hab/Sens fans...you can actually have a conversation with them on these boards.

Not to mention Bruins fans are not delusional like Habs/Sens fans. I bet Eugene is mapping out the parade route as we speak...either that or celebrating with a nice bottle or three or vodka.

Huh? I'm asking a legitimate question here and you are just mocking it. It's very possible that CBC would take the MTL vs. OTT series over the Leafs because it's two Canadian teams.

I am just asking this because of the time conflict we are going to have with the other series...

lol not a chance. It's all about the viewers, my friend.

Like Chara would be dumb enough to look at McLaren even twice. It has to be a team effort. Two season ago when we did well against the Bruins, we did it by making sure every single player finished their check on Chara to get him off his game. Starting from Armstrong, Bozak, Crabb, etc etc. Every single fn opportunity. If they keep that up, it will take its toll very fast.

I sure hope so. Only people finishing checks in our line up are...

Goon Squad
Bozak
Kadri
Jay Mc
to some extent JVR and Lupul

Leafs have gotta bring it! no turning back or sulking

Hope JVR can repeat some of his playoff magic from a couple years ago.

If I had to guess, those two series will be played on alternate days for the most part.

Good luck to the Leafs against the Bruins. Take them down and keep the playoffs in Canada.

If CBC takes Toronto over MTL/OTT we are going to hear alot of whining about CBC not following its Canadian content mandate. Even though half the audience will watch it on RDS anyways.

There is no way CBC won't choose Toronto. Are you kidding me? The best ratings are in any game that involves the Leafs.

I don't like the Bruins or their fans going all the way back to the days I used to post on the NESN site under the alias of Kessel or Kess. LOL Used to drive them bonkers with this.

But I will say this, I'd rather face a team that plays tough, honest hockey...

Rather than a bunch of diving backstabbing smurfs that are the Montreal Canadiens.

I don't like Boston and their fans, but I sure respect them and the way they play.

Hey, Melnyk needs other fans to fill the place. Everybody knows that. At least Eugene will get two home games of playoff revenue.:D

Never mind keeping track of all the dives between Karlsson and the Habs squad.

And who the hell would choose "Uncle Eugene" as a forum moniker? Naming yourself after a delusional drunk is not exactly something to proud of.

Sens fans aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Can't blame them completely though. Living in Toronto's shadow for so long has given them a massive inferiority complex. That kind of irrelevance will take it's toll on a mind.

IMO the first 10 minutes of Game 1 will be HUGE. Leafs have lots of inexperienced playoff players including Reimer and you know that the B's will be coming at them in waves. Weather that and they'll be fine.

Steal game Game 1 and Boston begins to worry a bit.

One thing that is a positive Kessel is peaking at right time to face his nemesis, this is the opportunity to silence it all for GOOD.

There is virtually no way - none, zero, zilch, nada - that CBC picks ANY matchup over a Toronto series.

Not even Montreal vs Vancouver if that were somehow possible.

Too close to Ottawa and Montreal
We can't forget how often the Sens beat us badly in the season and expected to roll over us in the playoffs only for the Leafs to smash them every single time

Hopefully we give the Bruins the same treatment. It wont be easy, its going to be physical and hopefully we pull out the series win

Go Leafs Go!

Having the same vibe of those years to me too.

If you really want to hear some ****, tune in to the Team1200 now that the Sens are in the playoffs. Their stupidity meter goes off the ****ing charts.

I don't know if I actually want CBC to take the Leafs if they are allowing Healy to comment on our games lol

I can see it now:

Kessel scores the GWG in OT of game 6 to win the series.
ACC crowd goes crazy and chants of "Thank You Kessel!" start pouring down as the leafs celebrate their first series win in nearly 10 years.

:)

Ya both teams are slumping but the Bruins idea of slumping is outshooting it's opponent 36-22. I'm not sure we have a game this season outshooting an opponent by that much.

Haha, I'd be shocked if your opinion of B's fan's doesn't change a game or two into this series.
