This is completely asinine. My research clearly shows he'll be traded at the beginning of next week.

You conveniently left out "if not sooner", ya f***in goober.

Just gonna say—when the coach comes out and says to the media: “it’s on me…”

You can be 100% sure that inside the locker room he is putting it on the players.

Wouldn’t be shocked if there is a shake-up move sooner than later.

Desharnais might’ve tweaked his hand in that fight. I hope he’s ok so we don’t see Juulsen in (lol)

Hoglander wasn’t good, but Tocchet came out and said he needed to find him more minutes. Putting him back beside Pettersson would be the better move. Sherwood is great but he’s better used beside Heinen as energy checkers.

Unless Allvin announces the Marcus Pettersson trade in 3 hours!

I don't mind rewarding a guy that's been consistently filling his role all season while also bringing offense. Might not even last the whole game but it's worth a shot.

Number 1: Cover for me.

Number 2: Oh, good idea, Boss!

Number 3: It was like that when I got here."

Definitely agree, I’m a massive Sherwood fan. Just feels like Hoglander is being pushed out here with Tocchet saying one thing and doing another. But wouldn’t be surprised if he switches him eventually.

Not only that, but its not like the Pettersson line has been playing great or anything. Not much to lose shaking it up and Sherwood has shown at lower levels that he has decent offensive skill so may work well with Pettersson.

Lankinen
  • Maintenance day
Desharnais
  • Tweaked something but thinks he will be fine
  • Felt it was better to keep him off the ice
This Morning’s Practice
  • Players are attentive and know they need to work on certain things
  • Stop the guessing
  • Players are pissed too, not just the coaching staff
  • Need to stop the trends going in the wrong direction
  • Want the players to feel comfortable but play uncomfortable; needs to find the sweet spot
  • Cannot accept these home game efforts
  • When something bad happens, they revert to 1-on-1 hockey and need to stop doing that
  • Thinks he’s been too soft this season
  • His job is to get there energy level up
Reuniting Joshua with Blueger & Garland
  • Wanted more predictability with Garland
  • If it’s too much for Joshua, at this point, can put someone else there
  • Too many guys circling; feels this line won’t circle
Brannstrom
  • Wants to get him on the ice more during offensive faceoffs
  • Brannstrom has made a few adjustments to his game to match the system
  • Gets a little ahead of “piles” instead of staying behind them
  • In the last two games, has really taken the information the coaching staff has given him and started to apply it
Home Record
  • Big test of the leadership group to turn this around
  • Leaders have to clean their game up first; lead by example
  • Need 4,5,6, or 7 guys to band together when things are tough
  • Don’t like the way you’re playing at home? Do your job then you can preach your actions to your teammates

Should definitely have the Thirst Line back together. This team has a chemistry issue and those three have proven time and time again that they can make magic happen.

The energy when Garland and Joshua connect for a goal is absolutely electric.

I actually do think that Sherwood is a more intriguing fit for Pettersson (especially if he's potentially starting to return to form) than Garland. More supportive protection/space creation without doing all the play-driving/puck-carrying for him.

Garland's who you play him with when he looks completely hopeless.

Help me with the bolded. I don't understand what he's saying.
