I feel like you say this all the time instead of providing reasons and analysis to backup your thoughts

Or...
it is a polite way of not repeating what I said the first time?

I am guilty of a number of things, but "providing reasons and analysis to backup your thoughts" is not one of them.

Again, people are free to disagree with me, I trust they respect my reciprocal right to not be on the same page with them.

You clearly have no clue what balls means. Having balls means putting something on the line that you can lose. What could you have potentially lost?

Typing endless predictions is a waste of time and effort. I had real balls for saying that. Right?

We disagree.
The standard is not displaying so much COURAGE you are shoo in for the Congressional Medal of Honor.

"putting something on the line that you can lose" takes courage.

I displayed the courage of my conviction to the extent I opened myself up to even further ridicule in the event I was wrong.

I didn't say, now give me the Medal of Honor.

I said, hey, I was right about Kreider, and that applies to like 95% of the board.
Even if they disagreed, we were cool cause it was polite.

But that 5% that had to be nasty, and condescending, let the record show I was totally right, they were totally wrong, they can  and pucker up.
That they have coming. And under the circumstances of how much guff I took to stand to my point, I am entitled.

Incidentally, Kreider's game has slipped a bit under the great weight of bernmeister's crowning.
Still playing well. Obviously we are still waiting for him to break out for goals which i think he will. However he continuest to use his size and speed to create pressure and chances for his linemates. Tonight he was a big reason zucc scores that last goal

Give them hell Bernie.

My thanks to the honest man who remembers the incredible guff I took for a year and a half or so.:clap::clap:

Most of the rest of you have voted with your silence, so the commentary as to my getting this right when most went the other way -- which transcends merely egotistical gloating as it is on the order of a just comeuppance -- will be suspended until the new year. Let there be peace on earth and goodwill.

Provided, I do not have to put anyone else in his place. Again.
And provided, justice is ultimately served.

I reserve my right to point out for the record, I was right, my detractors were wrong as to Kreider. And will resume doing so as indicated.

Hey there bern, i have another trade for you, my other trades were not really cup material. I got a new one.

Hank, DZ and Talbot for Boyd Gordon, Bachman and Ference. Maybe we throw in a 1st rounder also, just because its the nice thing to do.

Stepan, Callahan, Hagelin and 2014-15 2nd rounders for Cooke, Konopka and Rupp, we can use the toughness IMO.

Kreider, Boyle, Nash, Brassard and 2087 1st rounder and 2014 7th for Nashvilles 7th rounder for the next 5 years and future considerations but the twist is that we need to win a cup to get the 7th rounders, also Gaustad, Hendricks, Cullen and Legwand, plus a 3rd in 2042.

Staal, Girardi, Miller and 2014-15-16-17-18 3rd and 4th rounders for Burish, Dan Boyle and Stuart.

McIlrath and a 5th for Jussi Jokinen. Richards and 2066 1st and 2nd for Jagr.

Lines:
Pyatt-Jokinen-Dorsett
Cullen-Gaustad-Jagr
Cooke-Konopka-Rupp
Hendricks-Jean-Burish
legwand

Ference-Mcdonagh
Dan Boyle-Stuart
Bickel-Donnay right out of the OHL

Bicke first PP unit. Thoughts?

Skapski
Bachman

Cup team IMHO

Congrats on your courage for turning out to might be right about a prediction. You also might turn out to be wrong so I can see why you would want to collect your prizes quickly in case you have to make a quick getaway out of town.

You really seem to be missing the point that you have accomplished nothing. As to why you are so desperate to accept accolades, that is not a reasonable topic for a hockey opinions board.

Can we ignore the BS being tossed around from that one poster here and get back on topic.

The whole line has not been good. Very passive. Kredier is not nearly taking the body as much as when he was recalled. That is my one issue with him. Otherwise as a group theyve been crappy.

To put it back even further on topic, recently Kreider has looked more like the fellow who accomplished nothing and looked lost.

I am rooting for him (everyone is), but recently he has been a piece of garbage, as big as any of them.

Hopefully, today will mark the turnaround back to the player we all saw for a couple of weeks. We must all root for this turnaround or Bernmeister might start crying, and as funny as that would be, I am more concerned about players playing well for the Rangers than laughing at a poster bent on patting himself on the back.

I never understood why the Kreider-Stepan-Zuccarello line was such a sacred cow in the first place -- now that they havent done anything in weeks, its time to go.

Kreider has stopped moving his feet and being a presence every shift. He needs a kick in the ass again to get going to where he was a few weeks ago.

It wasnt his best game yesterday thats for sure. However i think that whole line has really fallen back to earth. Stepan has been pretty inivisible all season despite getting points. Zucc and Kreider both have slipped a bit lately. However Zucc and kreider still put a good amount of pressure in the opposing teams zone even though they arent scoring. Maybe its time to slpit them up and see what happens

His physical play started declining after the Upshall hit/penalty IMO. Not that he hasn't had good games or physical games since that but that looked to be when the consistency started slipping.

Like I posted earlier there are inevitably going to be ups and downs with Kreider's development. The best news is that he has shown he CAN play at a very high level in the NHL.

Exactly he is still technically a rookie. I do wnat him to be more physical again, maybe he is afraid of getting a bad penalty after the upshall hit. However he really hanst had one bad game since his recall.

Depends on how you define bad. When you are on one of the two scoring lines and you are not scoring, you are much closer to bad than good. Granted, it is a small sample size but so was the sample size when he was hitting the scoresheet.
