Good thing the Canada/Czech game was on tonight so that I didn't have to watch too much of the Leafs game.
Still not overly worried just yet, but lets hope the goaltending comes back and the defense plays well again. Also bring Timmins back into the lineup already.

What a POS of a game. Can't remember a worse effort in a long time. And whoever started that "admit you were wrong about Leafs goaltending" thread on the main boards needs their account suspended indefinitely. We officially have very bad goaltending at this point. This why you don't make threads like that.

When the Leafs lose a game after playing well, I can deal with that. The vagaries of sport, **** happens.
When the Leafs lose a game after an effort like tonight's, I'm pissed off. Yes, Murray was off, and that goal after Tavares scored had to hurt. But, jeez, there was no heart in their game after that.
I'll be interested in reading/listening to Keefe's comments post game. There isn't really an excuse for that type of effort.

Seattle is a competitive team this year but the Leafs lose their fair share of games they should handle on paper. Montreal, Arizona twice, Anaheim, San Jose. For whatever reason... things looked majorly off even on the 4 minute PP. Looked like they were retreating more than they were advancing the puck. Were completely out of sync.

Leafs defensive structure really falls apart when Rielly is added to the mix. He's just constantly on his own page.
