Hard to argue against the leading scorer in the playoffs who hasn't been on the ice for a goal against when the team has a 3-1 lead.

He has had too many turnovers but that is grasping at straws at this point

It's not about a 20 goal scorer. It's about filling a functional role
Bunting does not fit 4th liner duty. Simple has that. He's not responsible enough to be on the 4th line

That 4th line does a lot of good work, they forecheck, they win key faceoffs, they sustain decent pressure

None of what I mentioned above is Bunting's game. There are plenty of players in this league cannot play 4th line. Some players are only good at top 6

Nah Lafferty is too valuable to take out imo. His speed and constant physical presence have been a welcome sight. My choice would be Kampf

Jarnkrok - Mathews - Marner
Bunting - Tavares - Nylander
Knies - Orielly - Acciari
ZAR - Kerfoot - Lafferty

Kampf provides more value .. he's strong defensively and on the face-offs, and it's a key cog on the PK. A perfect fourth line centre. Lafferty won't stay in over him.

There is no way Bunting is coming in for any of the 4th line. Before Kerfoot scoring, i think some can make a case for Bunting over Kerfoot bc Kerfoot is invisible but you can’t take Kerfoot out now after scoring that goal.

So I'm a life long Nucks fan and first off I'm really happy for you guys. I feel that our two fanbases but the leafs especially, put up with so much shit from the rest of Canada, hated on, mocked and constant troll threads. The ironic thing of it is our two fanbases are extremely toxic towards our teams yet its portraid just the opposite.

I can honestly say leaf fans (most, not dekes for days lol) are far better than any other from what I can see.

I laughed when hab fans and Sen fans made fun of Dubas or AM etc, despite the leafs being a 100 point team or how Dubas killed the cap yet somehow he managed to add at the deadlines and replace the Hymans and Mikhayevs and not miss a beat. But what really hooked me was the moves made in net and at the deadline. Dubas has balls and while Murray was a flop Samsonov was great and I think he gets it going here in the playoffs.
I'm a big Schenn fan so that gave me the in to cheer for a team besides my Nucks and I loved seeing Dubas bitch out those douche bag fans in game 3. After the last two games it's obvious the core that everyone shits on for not showing up, slayed that fu**ing dragon big time and how bout BC boy Reilly? CLUTCH.

Just wanted too congratulate your team and while it's not done yet TB looks done and if and when that happens I hope you guys go on the fu**ing mains and stoop to the level of the shit-heads from Montreal and Ottawa that somehow feel they are entitled to mock a team on a completely different level.

I never thought I would cheer for any other team, from Canada, I cheer for Jack Hughes because of Quinn but I really hope you guys go far and I can't believe I'm not only excited for a non Nucks playoff run but I'm actually finding myself nervous which means I'm invested so if you guys don't mind I'll be lurking around here, posting the odd time but much shorter posts than this gab fest lol.

Not a chance Kampf coming off. That 4th line is his niche
Leafs are not putting in Bunting baring an injury. He doesn't fit any particular role

I would argue Simmonds has a better chance of getting back in. Simmonds is only good at one thing, that one thing is all he needs to be good at

While Bunting, he's not really good at anything

Props to the penalty kill for killing 8 of the last 9 penalties over the last 3 games. That Tampa PP feasted in game 1 and the Leafs have done well to adjust.

The PK keeping the game at 3 goals in the third was key.

I’d take out ZAR over Lafferty at this point. Bunting slots back in, not like we’ve been some juggernaut you can’t possibly tinker with.
