I hope we end up trading Geo to any team aside from Toronto.
Maybe winning a trade isn't worth maybe giving them a piece that made the difference in a run to the cup.
Disagree and do not follow this logic whatsoever.
How do we get Chabot or Tkachuk is the question? Throw in Kreider or ADA?Who could we rob from Ottawa this time around realistically?

I’d take Nylander in return. He’s expensive and the leafs are stacked at F. The marginal decrease at F is more than offset by the increase in G. Meanwhile we get a young playmaker signed to a LT deal who could add credibility to our third line (if we really want to spread around the talent) or swap with Buch on the second.Disagree and do not follow this logic whatsoever.

Who do you think they would offer in such a trade then? Kapanen? I thought Nylander made sense because of the contract, potentially soured relations after the holdout (even if he ended up resigning), and incredible forward depth.Well, I mean yeah, I'd fleece [mod] them in a trade too.
And it would work out from a cap perspective as well. Probably nets zero starting next year.I can actually see Ottawa considering Chabot for something around Georgie and Kreider. Who thought they'd trade Zibanejad?

I’m sure 3 games vs them will ignite the flame. I’ll always hate them and their fans but for the younger fans i can see how the last few seasons the rivalry has cooled a bit.Weird that there is very little animosity lately between these to teams. Perhaps tonight's game will amp things up.
We need to get back to normal around here....

Buchnevich sitting this one out? Interesting.Buch is sick and the team didn't know he was sick until this morning. Di Giuseppe was skating with Zibanejad and Kreider.
I doubt they would as well. That’s why I was thinking either CK or ADA would be necessary — probably more ADA than CK. And even that’s a stretch.Ottawa isnt trading Chabot.
According to Blue Line Station:
On Saturday, Elliotte Friedman reported on “Hockey Night in Canada” that the Blueshirts are ready to field offers for Georgiev. Friedman has good sources and he said that the Rangers are insisting on a good return and want a scoring forward who can help them as early as this year or next. That means an NHL player or a top prospect.
He specifically mentioned Ottawa, Toronto and San Jose as having interest.

My list is similar but I hated Buffalo far more than the Bruins. Always got smoked at the Aud.Islanders
Devils
Penguins
Flyers
Canadiens
Bruins
Capitals
in that order for me as most despised. Maybe the teams aren’t both good at the same time and things quiet down a bit but deep down if You grew up in the 80s 90s your list probably looks the same.
