You earned that point getting to overtime, you shouldn't lose it, that's a stupid rule in my opinion. You always use the best strategy to win the game, you shouldn't get penalized for using strategy. It was implemented when they started giving the loser point, to prevent teams from pulling their goalie because there would have been nothing to lose if teams pulled their goalies in OT
