Hey look, another game with zero offensive contribution from our bottom 6. I seriously cannot remember the last time they scored. Appleton with a garbage game proving yet again he has no business being in the top 6. Kuhlman and Stenlund are not NHL'ers. Chevy needs to make a move and inject some offense pronto before we find ourselves outside the playoff line.

Belated thank you to @Jets 31 for the GDT. Just got in from work & I believe Plain Jane did all she could & got us one Win when the Boys needed it. I respectfully suggest we save her magic for the Playoffs from here on in.

Also, I really enjoyed the response @Jet in the GDT re: Axel

No, this Post has nothing to do with the Game tonight, but I’m just trying to convey some positive energy as I still believe in this Team.

I’ll set some time aside to help out with some GDT’s to help give Plain Jane some recovery time.

It just seemed like they'd bobble or fan on the puck every time they had an offensive chance. It also seems like the attention to the tightly coached system is long gonzo.

Leadership issues. No Cs right but that's irrelevant. It's the leaders in the room, gotta think wheels scheif Lowry.

Morrissey seems to be thriving tho

Chevy needs to grab some secondary scoring pronto if he wants this team to make a run

Pull the trigger on something big. Every year we've been in a playoff position, Chevy's made the best deal he can. This year it's the most important of all. We got a hot start, we got a new coach bounce, and we're in a good position in a wide open west. We got room for those big deals that teams make. Now lets make one.

You know where the ignore button is. Maybe we should waive Helly to make you happy.

Helly stops 50 of 51 and the Jets win a huge road game on a B2B -- "eh, it's not sustainable".

Our top forwards are too impressed with their own skills. They want the highlight passes more than the wins.
The hard forecheck from earlier in the year needs to return soon.
yep I'm really getting sick of watching the extra pass that bounces off a defenders foot instead of the shot on goal. Also getting sick of watching Chef follow guys softly into the boards and attempting to tap the puck from behind instead of trying to get to the puck first.

That's how I see it too. They don't have that nonstop motor that true offensive starts have. You can't ignore the work factor at this level and our top guys just don't have it consistently.

All I know, they didn't listen to Maurice or maybe they did and that's the actual problem still, they didn't listen to Dave, they seem to listen to Rick occasionally but not enough.....

It ain't 3 coaches, it's now quite apparent this team has certain leaders who feel they are to talented to play within a system.

Arrogance

I'm not jumping off some cliff here yet but... if this continues probably best to cleanse the core ( 55 26 17 in particular)

We need a proper third line center. One that can chip in occasionally with a goal or two. Lowry is at best a fourth line center.
Yup. Lowry is a fantastic PKer but you cant be a top 9er at even strength completely devoid of offense or driving offense for your wingers. It's been 30 games since he's scored and pretty sure it's a heavy minus at 5v5 during that time frame. Simply not good enough.

Not a bad road game, we let that slip by. 6 of the next 7 at home and they need to go on a bit of a winning streak.
My maurice ptsd kicks in whenever someone talks about a home stand
