It is not in the ballpark.Um what about the 9th+byram+rosen for Dobson and barzal that should be in the ball park for fair value
I think Darche resigned Palms because he was honoring the handshake deal made by Lou.They make no sense. They resign 34 year old Palmieri, but want to trade their best defenceman who is still young?
WTF.......7th overall + McAvoy for Dobson.
Isles draft Hagens.
A double homecoming.
Maybe. Is he asking for $11M so that he can sign for $9-$9.5M? Or is he asking for $11M because in 2 years it'll be the equivalent of $9-$9.5M?I think some people are over reacting to how much he is asking for. It's negotiations of coarse you will ask for more than you actually hope/expect to get
At the end of the day he probably signs for 9-9.5M
I mean Chychrun just extended for $9M ... you'd think Dobson would be in the next tier upI think some people are over reacting to how much he is asking for. It's negotiations of coarse you will ask for more than you actually hope/expect to get

Palmieri is also a short term depth signing for the forwards. He can still produce at 34. Rather have him then some upcoming UFA who’s 15 goal career high will cost the same with more term as Kyle did. They make no sense. McAvoy is better, what is NYI adding to Dobson? The 7th overall would be excluded naturally.7th overall + McAvoy for Dobson.

It’s fine value-wise but doesn’t seem to be much of a consideration of our needs. We’ll have Pelech, Romanov, and probably Schaefer on LD, adding Byram isn’t a good use of assets. #9 is fine but part of the appeal of dangling Dobson is to get Hagens, who likely won’t be available at that point. And if we can’t get that done the best trade option might be to get scoring help up front (Robertson has been mentioned in this respect). What about just dobson?

I have to agree. Hanifin/Hronek were extended for like $7.3 mill a year earlier. Now, that number appears closer to around $9 mill.I mean Chychrun just extended for $9M ... you'd think Dobson would be in the next tier up
This is an obvious troll, but if NYI's ultimate goal in this draft was to go home with Hagens and McAvoy, what would it actually cost? Here's my guess;7th overall + McAvoy for Dobson.

It was weird last year. It's like he massively regressed. Is he that bad defensively where they shouldn’t just pay him 10 and be done with it? Bc idk why you trade him.
Pinto and Yakemchuk, could Darche say no?
Maybe Pinto straight up.
That's a big fat NO.Um what about the 9th+byram+rosen for Dobson and barzal that should be in the ball park for fair value

Isles don't want McAvoy. This is mootMcAvoy is better, what is NYI adding to Dobson? The 7th overall would be excluded naturally.
no thanks, it a weak draft, 16 and 17 don't have much value as usual and no interest Dach at all.Montreal should be all over this.
Dach, Mailloux, 16 + 17th overall
More quality, less quantity.Montreal should be all over this.
Dach, Mailloux, 16 + 17th overall
