I would do that deal in half a heartbeat, moving an effecting PMLD for an effective PMRD.So, they send Byram the other way as the base of a trade?

I would not.I would do that deal in half a heartbeat, moving an effecting PMLD for an effective PMRD.
Yea, a top 4 dman at 25 is likely worth a late first. You dont think so?
Without major weapons up front on the isle. Dobson just kinda wilts under pressure which baffles me as he was a huge asset and alpha during two memorial cup runs. Think the isles get it done at 9.25 million a year. Nice payday eh?Bullshit. Top 10 in scoring among dmen over a 4 year period is absolutely elite.
1. Makar
2. Q. Hughes
3. Fox
4. Josi
5. Hedman
6. Dahlin
7. Karlsson
8. Morrisey
9. Bouchard
10. Dobson
That’s the list of top scoring dmen from 2021-22 to 2024-25. Pretty f***ing elite company lol
AgreedMaybe a late first, something in the 28-32 range, I guess.
I'm guessing both the Islanders and Rangers make the same mistake and overpay to keep. I'd rather have Dobson's upside long-term
It's got to be futures heavy I could see Nashville offering 5 and wood/kemmel as a base
It definitely sounds like Byram is in the trade mix for some kind of return. A PMRD to pair with Dahlin or Power would be huge going by our needs. Personally, I want to flip Byram and #9 for the Elias Pettersson redemption story arc, but it's not up to me.So, they send Byram the other way as the base of a trade?
NYI trades Dobson and re-signs DeAngelo so I'm not sure they can take back RHD. Call up Verbeek, he's been helping out.STL could put together a nice package for him. We’d have to include Faulk though. End be a good stop gap for the Isles for a couple years.
Faulk + 19th OA + +
Who the + and + are, I have no idea. We have a lot of good prospects.

And that gets even more compounded by the fact that Dobson can just take his qualifying offer for a year and then ride it to UFA next season (I think he would have 7 years in the NHL by then and thus be UFA at 26).
Other way around minus the big shot.Dobson is a poor man’s bouchard. I wouldnt pay bouchard to bouchard for $10M+ sp I definitely wouldn’t pay Dobson to Dobson for $8M+
Probably would have to be Robertson + Dumba + asset.Jason Robertson for Dobson.
Stars badly need another top 4 RHD and Dobson would fill that hole.
Dobson isn’t worth even close to 2nd overall. Not even CLOSE.I still think Dobson for 2nd OA makes a ton of sense for both sides, but I know Sharks fans would just prefer the pick.
Are you hoping for Schaefer or Misa?Dobson isn’t worth even close to 2nd overall. Not even CLOSE.
Obviously hoping for Schaefer but that’s not happening, so Misa. Not sure what that has to do with your wack trade proposal though. Are you hoping for Schaefer or Misa?
Our priority isn't for an offensive D-man though. Dobson is great, don't get me wrong, but it's not what Ottawa needs. It would be Chychrun 2.0, but worse because he'd be on an 7-8 year deal at premium price.
Legit just asking a question lolObviously hoping for Schaefer but that’s not happening, so Misa. Not sure what that has to do with your wack trade proposal though.
I'm actually hoping for Misa but will be happy if Schaefer falls. Either one of them with 6 years of team control are worth way more than 1 year from payday Dobson in a salary cap world. Are you hoping for Schaefer or Misa?
Maybe Pinto straight up.
