I would retire Girardi's number before I retire Zuccarello's
I know we never won. But Zucc meant more than anyone has besides Lundqvist the last decade. Pure heart, and soul guy, that gave his all. I hope one day we can retire #36 for all he’s done. I mean we can still sign him in the offseason but is he worthy if it?
I mean, he’ll probably get a video tribute tooNo. And sadly aside from a standing ovation next whenever he returns to MSG, he won't getting any honors from the org.
Just the reality of not being a a superstar worthy of jersey retirement or part of winning a cup. Plenty of people will remember him though... sure we will see his jersey at games for a long time.

really like Zucc but given how this franchise raises jerseys, there is no chance.
