Kadri was an idiot.Nope. I dont like skill guys. I like heart and soul guys.
Our guys are not heart and soul guys.the last one we had was kadri, and we got rid of him
We need Clark/Gilmour types.

Bottom six is great. Love those guys. But they are not the core of the team. They will come and go.Nah. No passion in this group. If they have a big moment where they finally come together, whether it's a defining physical game or, dare I say, a playoff series win, then maybe they can turn it around. But until that day comes it's just a bunch of skilled individuals playing as they please.
The one exception though is our bottom six, guys like Moore, Kerfoot, Soup, Timashov, Kappy etc all play hard and put in a lot of effort consistently. They are a likeable bunch, but it's moot if your stars don't step up and lead the way or set the tone.
Most talented Leaf team in as long as I can remember, but I’m not “in love” with this group as teams past.[/QUOTE
Lol shades of scorpius it was wilhamin it was wilhamin ol herc cartoon. There was one play tonight where Marner could have checked a guy by the half boards but he just skated away like there was a force field repelling him. Shades of Kessel.
But that's fine because Marner is not "that" type of player.
The problem is the Leafs have too many guys unwilling to get gritty, and even if they control most of the game, they occasionally land in situations where they'll get out-muscled and let in a goal. Those "sometimes" really matter. Mix in a couple of guys like Tom Wilson, dirty as he is, or even getting the skilled guys to hustle like Oshie, and the Leafs will strike much better balance.
Moving one of Kapanen, Johnsson, Kerfoot, or even Nylander could get that "power forward" type, but of course at the cost of skill.
