Who's Kenny?
Minus Hemsky, because what this team needs more of is Ales Hemsky......
Petry does nothing right.Gilbert was on the All-Rookie team...17 goals as a rookie. Never looked out of place in a top-4 role on a pseudo-competitive team.
Petry plays a complete game, not a one-dimensional one. That's always been his calling card.
Both of these guys came out of college and didn't "burn out" with a pro schedule.
Both of these players were weaker than Schultz offensively coming out of college, and continue to be so today. But both were also miles ahead in their own zone.
Why is offense the only thing you people look at in defensemen? There's a reason they're called "defense"men

Awww yea. Everybody take a drink/shot.
"Belanger, broken pass/play"
And some Robbie Schremp too huh?
Yet no such credit given by you to Gagner who has been playing the most minutes for months now.The kid is burned out, pretty easy to tell.
Looking at Cap Geek, the only good thing about this roster is how many of these losers are UFAs this summer or next.
2013: Khabibulin, Fistric, Jones, Petrell, Smithson, Sutton, Whitney
2014: Belanger, Brown, Dubnyk, Eager, Hemsky, Potter, N. Schultz, Smyth
Watch Getzlaf, a huge skilled center. That's why we need Barkov.
Neither guy played the amount of games Schultz has played this season in their rookie years.

He's apparently over 200 pounds now... I guess that's why the Oilers are interested.
Craig Button is claiming that Barkov can play in the NHL next year... but then again... this is Craig Button we're talking about.Barkov or Monahan would be huge for the team. We really need one of them or any other big center if we are going to be competing with the likes of L.A and Anaheim for the foreseeable future.
