This current setup is maddening.
A coach that cant figure out decent lines intil 60 games into the season and only after injuries and trades force him to try different lines
A GM that enables and reinforces bad coaching decisions with his trades.
Worst thing is we likely start next season with both, a healthy roster, and pretty close to the same dumb lines we started the season with.

Don't forget that Trotz also got this guy in the Glass trade. He's disappeared off the face of the earth and didn't play hockey this year.

Barry also said that he wants players to have fun and that if we had better luck we would be in wild card chase.
He also basically said that they are going to sell off Bunting, McCarron,, and Sissons next deadline because we are at least 3-4 years away from contending.

I mean it is Stillman - so brutal is kinda table stakes. Barry sounds completely dug in and full of unfounded confidence. One thing that stuck out to me he mentioned cap space more than once. I wonder if ole Billy Gas Station told him to lighten up on the budget a bit
