If the refs were not disciplined for the Vlasic embellishment, which resulted in the Preds losing the game and was much more egregious, then don’t expect it here. Sissons should’ve gotten two and I have no problem with him having a diving strike against him. I’m sure Jack had no problem with Marchand staking through the crease earlier in the game and taking Pekka’s leg out....

Also, the Preds announcers didn’t whine for the next 30 minutes about it. They said the didn’t agree with the call and moved on (and I don’t particularly care for our announcers).

Im not sure who the Avs announcers are but they sounded pretty homer vs the Canucks. Pettersson scored the game tying goal and the announcer was like "NOOO!!! PETTERSSON"

I always point this out about Jeanerett: they have repeatedly asked him to do a national broadcast and he always turns them down because he knows he is incapable of being impartial and doesn't think it would be fair to the audience.

Jack Edwards is a clown lmao. I actually watch his commentary at times just for entertainment.

He becomes the biggest homer to especially one thing: Physicality.

It's amazing how he has an orgasm everytime a Bruins player throws a hit or wins a skirmish or fight.......and just how completely depressed he gets when a Bruins player gets demolished or loses a fight.

Every time a Bruins player loses a physical battle, he quickly tries to change the topic or somehow create an excuse like the "Bruins Player wasnt set" or "Bruins player didnt see it coming" or "The other player got lucky this time around, wont happen again".

This dude is legit hurt when the Bruins actually take a beating . And the funny thing is, the Bruins have taken a beating physically the last 2 years so it's even funnier to see him backtrack from his macho mantra from the 2009-2014 years

Edwards isn't really that awful, if you want bad try to find Flyers broadcasts in the late 90s and early 2000s with Steve Coates. He's far more egregious than Edwards wishes he could be.
