Is the Bruins loss the biggest choke job ever?

What’s worse a sweep or choking 3-1?

Tampa got completely outplayed, which was super shocking. With hindsight, that Columbus team was probably better talent wise than a wildcard spot

Boston had many self-inflicted wounds. Florida also did well in forcing plays out of Boston and capatalizing. Their roster is also nothing to scoff at compared to Columbus

So I guess it depends on what seems worse to the person.

I honestly think Bruins previous choke jobs are worse. 2010 is pretty bad.
Tampa is pretty bad too.

Top-3 100%. But a bit expected IMO.

I’m going to say yes. This team was celebrated it was a unamious Cup favourite. Up 3-1 in the series leading with a minute left in game 7. They couldn’t choke any harder

No it's the curse.

10 straight President Trophy winners failed to win the SC. Bruins have been part of that 3 times.

Probably yes. Throughout the regular season, I don't think they had a single stretch of games as bad as these 7.

And are you aware of how many straight years the second place finisher failed to win the stanley cup for before avalanche did it last year?

Why can't there be 2 simultaneous curses?

As a Leafs fan who has obviously been repeatedly victimized by Boston over the course of the past decade, all I can really say right now is:

Nothing will beat the Miracle on Manchester (ugh) but this is in the top 3 for sure.

Boston put all their chips on this season and lost to a team that made the playoffs in their last game. They're going to lose so much talent this summer due to the cap
