Then the Leafs beat Boston on Saturday and everyone is happy again.
I would probably be the first in line! Damn team has me by the cajones!

I'd be willing to bet that the Leafs will win all three games and announce that Klingberg will be having surgery. A good week all around. Then the Leafs beat Boston on Saturday and everyone is happy again.
Definitely should be a candidate if Keefe were to be fired.
Remember how quick Shanahan made him do an about face early last season when he tried that? Rest assured, Shanahan will not allow any of that on his two precious prima donnas!i can’t imagine he is saying to much to them in private and if he is they certainly are not listening because it’s the same show year after year
Because if he is doing it in private they sure aren’t listening so maybe it’s time he put some heat on them in the public
He’s not much of an ass kisser. Doubt the core 4 would react positively, but maybe for a short time.Definitely should be a candidate if Keefe were to be fired.
Personally, I wish they'd get a coach with a bit of fire, but not one who prefers to play mind games with his players a la Mike Babcock. He’s not much of an ass kisser. Doubt the core 4 would react positively, but maybe for a short time.
He’d be a better option for a hard working meat and potatoes roster.
Leafs have to be the only team in the league that gives out blank cheques, doesn't require 8 year deals, and coddles their players like they're China dolls.Remember how quick Shanahan made him do an about face early last season when he tried that? Rest assured, Shanahan will not allow any of that on his two precious prima donnas!
This team has had two coaches. One was an egomaniac who preferred to play mind games with his players, and the second one is the biggest ass kisser I've ever seen behind the bench. Can we try with a middle ground before we conclude the core is unsalvageable? Not the biggest issue, no. You can't keep firing the coaches. We thought Babs was the issue, turns out he wasn't. The core has needed a shakeup since the Montreal series. The core is rotten. We were railing on Babs, now we're railing on Keefe. The core is the issue.
Keefe's post game presser was gut wrenching.
Throwing Robertson and Timmons under the bus. While completely absolving Matthews and Marner. Those two played another 24 minutes together.
Despite stinking the place up.
Marner making hope passes and showing no fight against the boards are a coaching issue. When a player isn't held accountable they will continue doing whatever they want. What motivation is there to change if no one is punishing you for your stupid fundamental mistakes?
They need a coach that hold them to the highest standards of accountablity.
Keefe is soft. The Benjamin Disraeli of coaches. "Peace for our time" and other such nonsense.
He just kisses the stars butts so he still has a job.
They need someone with balls who will kick these lazy donkey's asses. The team is already out of a playoffs position after American Thanksgiving. Why wait until they are buried so far they can't get back?
Just fire this loser now.
He certainly has fire. I thought he was going to jump over the glass, pull DeBoer’s tongue out and slap him with it in last years playoffs.Personally, I wish they'd get a coach with a bit of fire, but not one who prefers to play mind games with his players a la Mike Babcock.
I don't think most think he's a bad coach. He's just not the right coach to take you all the way.I am probably in the minority here but I think Keefe is a good coach
He's still the wrong coach and that was evident even two years ago.He was the wrong coach at the wrong time but he's already here.
Hard to say, the last good coach we had more or less just gave up and went home under Dubas but Keefe never had that luxury. He's still the wrong coach and that was evident even two years ago.
That would be ideal, but who has remained in charge throughout all of this? This team has had two coaches.
