*Sid played a half season it's absolutely not fair to give him 1st place for per game stat, but hockey-reference give him that, so it was added too.
Look at their best playoff runs, better points per game in a lower scoring era with worse linemates while being dominant in ways that Kucherov simply isn’t.
Ovechkin 11 goals and 21 points in 14 games in 2009, Malkin 36 points in 24 games, Crosby 31 in 24 (but tied with Malkin at 28 before Detroit series where Lidstrom and Zetterberg were glued to Crosby), 19 in 13 and 21 in 12. Kucherov has an impressive playoff career, one of the best of his era slightly behind MacKinnon and Draisaitl and a fair bit behind McDavid. I don’t get those who put him on the level of Crosby, Ovechkin and Malkin to be honest other than considering nothing besides raw point totals.
Ovi's capitals won 3 president's trophies in a span of 8 years as well as a cup. They were absolutely stacked every year.
Not so stacked during his 65 goal season
