Don't forget that hockey is a tiny winy sport for the spoiled rich in the arctic circle. To even mention McDavid in the same breath as Messi or Ronaldo or tiger woods is laughable. 260 000 000 play soccer in the world. All NBA teams (longevity + dominance) with only MJ likely capable of being all NBA player for 16-17 straight years
