You think Chara is a 55 goal scorer on the Oilers?Oilers fans getting in a Jimmy over a different opinion. Shocking.

Doesn't matter though, you seem to be all over every single Oiler thread.Doubtful, nothing more than a wild assumption that that Draisaitl would make that big of an impact on another team.
It’s a Draisaitl thread and not a McDavid thread.
The opinion would have to be something that makes logical sense....If I believe unicorns are real, I would expect people who try to correct me. Just human natureOilers fans getting in a Jimmy over a different opinion. Shocking.
Hockey fans use a hockey forum to comment on hockey related topics, what a shocking revelation. I could always just post in threads to discuss the forum users and not the actual topicDoesn't matter though, you seem to be all over every single Oiler thread.
Dude spends more time talking about the Oilers than any other team on here, it's weird.Doesn't matter though, you seem to be all over every single Oiler thread.
It’s shit analysis too.Dude spends more time talking about the Oilers than any other team on here, it's weird.
Draisaitl has passed Kopitar, he can't even see Kopitar. Kopitar is a dot to him.Maybe, if you started watching hockey in 2021. Kopitar will not be passed anytime soon
It’s shit analysis too.
“I can assume Draisaitl is worse on another team, but you can’t assume Draisaitl is the same or better.”
Makes no sense whatsoever and has no wherewithal to apply his own arguments consistently.
Oilers fans getting in a Jimmy over a different opinion. Shocking.
Obviously that means Zdeno Chara would put up NUMBERS. He would put up better numbers than Bouchard who has become grossly overrated riding Mcdavid’s coattails just like Leon. You're referring to Zdeno Chara, right? AKA a defenseman who career high in goals was 19 and points was 52. How the f*** would Chara put up the 'same' numbers, exactly? Nobody has to be an Oiler fan to clown that ridiculous post of yours.
Great…another goofy poster that makes assumptions and just pretends it’s a fact.Obviously that means Zdeno Chara would put up NUMBERS. He would put up better numbers than Bouchard who has become grossly overrated riding Mcdavid’s coattails just like Leon.
Eh, Chara is a weird one because he wasn’t exactly an offensive defenceman. I don’t see him benefiting much from a new team. Draisaitl could move up this list if he proves he can be the type of player he is without McDavidObviously that means Zdeno Chara would put up NUMBERS. He would put up better numbers than Bouchard who has become grossly overrated riding Mcdavid’s coattails just like Leon.
I didn't think this was rocket science, but players that win multiple major awards don't ride coattails of other players. Either do players with 3 50-goal seasons and 5 100-point seasons. Putting up these types of numbers one year is a fluke, but doing it most years is a pattern of a player that's obviously elite with or without the help of others.Obviously that means Zdeno Chara would put up NUMBERS. Yep exactly. 50-50 seasons are a rare elite thing showing a player can be both a top level scorer and playmaker. In the last 15 years there have been 11 50-50 seasons.I didn't think this was rocket science, but players that win multiple major awards don't ride coattails of other players. Barkov is a better player than Reinhart. Mcdavid is a better player than Draisaitl. Hope this helps.Great…another goofy poster that makes assumptions and just pretends it’s a fact.
So who should we deduct on the Panthers?
Reinhart plays with Barkov correct? Who’s riding who’s coattails and is overrated?
I’m going to assume Barkov is overrated and is really only a 70 point player because apparently that’s what every moronic poster on here can do now.
Or do your assumptions only apply to the Oilers?
Great, so how much does Reinhart ride the coattails of Barkov and how overrated is he? How many pegs should we knock him down or how many points should we deduct?Barkov is a better player than Reinhart. Mcdavid is a better player than Draisaitl. Hope this helps.

Mikita (depending how you define him)
P. Statsny (depending how you define him)
Kopitar
Hossa
Draisaitl
Chara
A. Statsny
Bondra
Gaborik
Josi
Sure I can get into this list if it's a right now question and one really, really values career over prime by a large degree but there are a couple of problems here.Eh, Chara is a weird one because he wasn’t exactly an offensive defenceman. Reinhart is inferior to Barkov. Hope that helps as well! Bouchard is quickly becoming the most overrated player on the boards. Was hated last season until the turnaround. Weird.Yeah sure he would! Nothing but hyperbole nonsense from you. Best players make others better, what a fricken concept. By your logic, Reinhart should get viewed upon as inferior because he plays with the likes of Barkov. Keep moving your goal post. You're just making yourself look more ridiculous.
I mean it’s not a shock Reinhart scored 57 goals playing with Barkov the first time in his career. Barkov elevates players. Mcdavid does too. Reinhart would not score 57 without Barkov the same way Bouchard and Draisaitl would not put up the same points without Mcdavid. Really easy concept.Great, so how much does Reinhart ride the coattails of Barkov and how overrated is he? How many pegs should we knock him down or how many points should we deduct?
I’m sure you have some way of consistently applying this across players and teams, right?
Reading the first post helps sometimes,i don't have time to read all the posts, wheres jagr's name? until drai has as many cups as jagr well you know my answer. ps prime hasek is my fav goalie i'd pick for a dream team
There’s a big six in hockey of Canada, USA, Russia, Czechia, Sweden, and Finland that have produced most of the best players of all time, including most of the best current players.
Is Leon Draisaitl on pace to become the best hockey player ever from another country?

More to hockey than points. Basing an argument purely on points when comparing players or careers is a rudimentary approach that shows little understanding of how players contribute to a full 200’ game.Sure I can get into this list if it's a right now question and one really, really values career over prime by a large degree but there are a couple of problems here.
Firstly, for all practical purposes Mikita was a Canadian hockey player and people trying to state otherwise are being too cute by half.
Stastny was a great player but Draisaitl has by quite a bit the better prime and playoff resume already.
Same thing with Srai to Kopitar, drai's prime and playoff resume are just that much better.
The comparison comes down to this in a nutshell.
Kopitar has 17 seasons of 60-94 points adjusted with some really good defensive play in there.
Drai has 8 seasons at 72-128 points with 6 seasons at 100+ and a more prolific playoff resume.
right now sure someone could take Kopitar but really the poll question is about pace and barring a catastrophic career ending injury how much does Drai really need here to be top on this list?
Stastny BTW has 10 seasons with 61-102 points adjusted so not really sure why you have him ahead of Kopitar.
